I have a 2004 Velocity Red 2004 RX-8 6-spd with black/gray two-tone cloth seats, and I'm in south central Montana - 30 miles from Billings.

The car has 46,000 miles.
Asking $14,000 - that's what it's worth for average condition on KBB.com, but the car is in excellent condition, and I also have lots of extra stuff for the car:
Full Factory Bra. This was on the car when I purchased it and removed
immediately after purchase to protect the paint from being scratched. It is in very good condition, with just a slight amount of dust underneath.
OEM foglights with installation kit. This includes the factory switch, foglights, and wiring that you need to install the lights. Purchase price was $350
Racing Beat oil cooler guards and radiator guard - installed. The design of the front intake is such that it funnels rocks right into the cooler fins, possibly damaging them. These guards are woven aluminum mesh, manufactured specifically for this usage, by Racing Beat, and add to the look of the car as well as protecting the important oil coolers. These were a righteous pain to install, but worth it. Purchase price was $250
Factory all weather floormats. They have little "rotor" designs all over them, and the only worn spot is under the clutch pedal, where a few nubs have worn down from my heel moving. Purchase price was $150. I also have the carpeted floormats.
(4) Bridgestone Blizzak LM-4 snow tires. These tires were purchased in December of 2006, and have approximately 4000 miles (one winter's worth of driving) on them. Purchase price was $980.
The exterior has a few slight blemishes. There are some light scratches on the driver's door, a few rock chips in the hood (neither are noticeable from 10 feet away) and a 2 inch scratch (I think it came from a rock?) on the passenger lower front wheel well. It is also not noticeable due to the location. The windshield has a few rock chips that are fixable.
This car was purchased used from J.C. Billion Motors in Bozeman, MT, with 14,000 miles in March of 2006. I am the second owner. New Cooper Zeon 225/45ZR18 3-season tires were installed within 1 week of purchase. They have approximately 28,000 miles on them, but the tread is still very deep - I have never done a burnout in this car. The car is adult (I am 27) female-driven and was used for just over a year to drive 30 miles one way to work each day, at about 65-75 MPH. I parked it in July 2007 when we bought my current daily driver, and I drive it now about twice a month to keep it in good running condition. The car is an absolute BLAST to drive, and really isn't too bad on gas. I personally have gotten 25.1 MPG - that's my record. I usually average 23-24 on the highway. It takes only premium fuel. I run 91 octane because 93 is not available in Montana. The car has been well-maintained. I only use Mobil-1 5W-20 oil in it, and I change the oil every 5000 miles. The tires have been rotated every 10,000 miles, and one tire has had a small nail hole repaired. I wash the car regularly - two to three times a month, and wax it as needed - usually every 2-3 months. Montana does not use salt on their roads, but I regularly flush the undercarriage anyway. I have many service records available from the local Mazda dealership. I will give you the name and phone number of the service manager if you need to ask him service history. There have been several recall services that have been performed, and I have documentation that the work was done. I am a non-smoker, and the car does not smell like it was smoked in by the previous owner either – I am pretty sensitive to the smell of smoke and I have never noticed it, even on hot days. The car has been garage-kept since it was purchased. I will be sad to see it go, because it has been a very good car to me, and SO fun to drive!
I really would like to keep this car, but I just cannot afford to have a toy plus two daily drivers.
