Lightbulb midpipe w/ resonator

first i want to say thanks for doing business with me, and the midpipe is very high quality. i posted this somewhere else, but after i put it on, i was a little dissapointed. it sounds kind of "ricey" and not like what i imagined. i just want to know if the midpipe has to "break in" and then the will sound deepen and the "ricey" sound will go away?

thanks again!

it'll sound lot better with a turbo.

all catless midpipe sounds 'ricey'. i don't know how else to describe the sound.

the more you remove from the pipe, the more the sound will become 'raspy'. cat quitens the engine sound ALOT. if you wanna know what renesis really sounds like, look up clips of teamrx8's autox action.

if you want nice & deep sound, you need to look into getting quality muffler that'll resonate the way you want. but without the cat, you'll always have the raspiness unless you turbocharge the car (turbo quieten the car considerably)

hmm, ok. have to look into cat-backs now. but i assume that the raspy-ness will go down a little bit when it gets broken in right?

well i did only drive it for like 5 mins, so that may be it. but resonators seem to be like glasspacks, and glasspacks have a "break-in" period, were the sounds smoothens and deepens out.
