Racing Beat Race Pipe
Are you carrying this yet?
I want to buy the pipe, front and rear sway bars and end links from racing beat.
They quoted me at $690 shipped to 33185. Can you do any better? I ask cause you gave me a good deal on the exhaust, spoiler and intake from RB a while back.
Let me know, thanks.

I emailed Jim at racing beat and he said to expect about 4-8 ponies from this pipe. I was a little taken aback as people with the rp supercat say 8-12. Also, the with the supercat you get no CEL and with this you are almost guaranteed to. But the advantage of this would be that it is 150 dollars less than the supercat and it is a Racing Beat product.

Took too long to answer me... :-)

I can do our racepipe for $190 and the resonated pipe for $260. There isnt much difference between our pipe and Racing Beats as they are just straight pipes. If people want the Racing Beat I can save you $10 off their price.

yeah, that clip does it no justice... I had the stock clip and this one so that you can just use it to compare the difference but that one got corrupt and I can't use it no more. You can ask anyone that was at the dragon run this past september to see what they thought of it....

RX8 Aftermarket
OK, so I'm given to understand that there is not much HP left to get from my 8...even with all the aftermarket **** out there. From what I know, that was the whole point when the engineers let the RX8 leave the factory.
What's the point to spending over $500/part for only 4-8 hp gain? I have the dough, but does it really make a difference you can FEEL?
My thing might be "weight reduction." Wouldn't that improve my 0-60 times and handling?
I'm thinking carbon fiber hood/trunk and lighter wheels for starters. Then, removing back seats and having some custom interior work done so it doesn't look like ****.
Let me know...
Also, I do want a louder more free flowing exhaust. There's a lot of talk online about these racing exhausts. Doesn't the car lose the dual exhaust outlets with that product?
I was thinking of buying the GReddy exhaust I saw on www.mazdatrix.com. Any opinions?
PS - Why not save some money for some twin turbos like the old RX7? How much for those?
James.

U gotta understand, like you said the 8's N/A power pretty much on the max already
say you're thinking about the hood, Stock hood is like what, 16 lbs ? and a Carbon fiber will only save you about 1 lb of weight. If Im not mistaken.
The stock wheel is only about 20 lbs each. a *light weight* one usually comes in about 16, thats 4 lbs of saving for each.
Removing back seats ruin the idea of this car. You should've got yourself a 2 seater instead.
Single outlet exhaust will give you better flow when you go FI. for N/A , dual or single doesnt really make a different.
Greddy exhaust is a waste of money, most people who had it before got rid of it and got MS dual exhaust.
