Purpose: Raise funds for Brotherhood of the Dragon Event 2005.


Prize: $500 gift certificate to rx8store. We encourage you to visit their awesome site and check out all the great products that they offer for the RX-8.

Price: $5 per ticket. No limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased per person. A total of 200 tickets will be sold. A winner will be drawn upon sale of ticket number 200.

Rules:Tickets MUST be purchased through the Paypal link on the MazdaNow.com website. All other monies sent to this account will not be counted towards the raffle. This is the only way that we can keep an accurate count of what funds are set aside for Brotherhood of the Dragon Event 2005 (September 7th through September 11th).


Details: This raffle is for one $500 Gift Certificate. The Gift Certificate can be used for parts and shipping. This Gift Certificate was purchased by the Executive Board of The Brotherhood of the Dragon, the Gift Certificate was NOT donated. BOTD Board of Directors are not eligible to participate in the raffles. All funds collected will be used to enhance the Annual Brotherhood of the Dragon meet. As each ticket is purchased your name will be added next to a number in the table below. Upon completion of the raffle one number will be drawn by an official Notary Public of the State of Florida, who will authentic and verify the results. The Notary will then complete the official winners contract and sign it. This document will then be posted on www.mazdanow.com. The winner will then receive 1 $500 Gift Certificate to the above vendor. Please Direct all questions to jcgrim@comcast.net.

I'm really surprised the raffle hasn't gone quicker than this -- it's a GREAT opportunity, with very high odds of winning!

 

I even offered to give a free registration away with the same raffle if we can get it to sell out by December 31, 2004. That means you can witn a $500 Gift Certificate and a $45 Value Registration!!!!!

Sixty eight tickets sold so far. What happens if less than 200 are sold?

 

The raffle will not end until all the tickets have been sold. If it starts to get close to the event and all tickets have not sold. The board will meet and discuss a resolution then post it here for a vote and agreement.

BUT we shouldn't worry, there is no reason why this raffle will not sell out. we have sold 68 tickets in 2 months and there is still 8 months left. Lets convince more people to start buying, I have uped the prizes to help them sell, not much more I can do.....

 

And the sad part is that us Board members are inelgible to participate so as not cast any doubts on the legitimacy of the raffle. Otherwise, I would have bought a handful by now.

 

OK guys ticket sales seem to be dissapating........is there something more that I need to do to help sell the tickets. Its time to start registering for the event, now that the holidays are over and the new year is starting. Remember your registration must be in by July 31, 2005. I can't believe that only 2 people took advantage of the $5 discount on registration by December 31, 2004. And only 3 people participated in the logo contest. There are over 10,000 members on this board!!!!
