No disrespect mean. LOL! I actually have to give credit. I think Trel made the last video and it was pretty slick. Does anyone have the link or video saved so we can watch the action again? Hope D&B doesn't mind us taking over their parking lot, because things might get a little out of hand.

Haha I can't wait...this is gonna be a blast. Won't see much mod action on my 8 by then probably, but it will still be fun.

It's not about how many mods you have. It's about being part of the Mazda, and more importantly, the Rotary family. I don't have as many mods as some that are going (not to mention any names, *cough*Oldragger*cough) but appreciate everyone's baby the same. I just have a few mods myself, so no worries.

So linkie no workie...that sucks! Oh well, we'll make a better one this year anyway. I'm starting to ramble now, one hour of sleep does the body no good, so I'm going to go work on more stuff to ensure my graduation this Saturday.

Later!

I agree with Kevin. dont worry ....I was in the SAME Situation just like you were....I was sooo Worried that My Car wasnt so called "Modded Out" like all the Others! At the Time, All I had was Red Caliper Paint & Door Sills....

And you know? I can appreciate any car MORE than any modded car out there now. Makes you feel proud that you own such a nice car. I just wish I can turn back time for all the dumb mistakes I done on mine.

I guess thats true. The reason I got the car in the first place was because I loved it, not because of what I could potentially do to it in the future.

Speaking of mods, my town is full of cars that have tons of "mods" and are falling apart! Not to bash on anybody, because I have owned some pieces of crap in the past, but running around in a Hyundai Accent with an air intake sticking out of the hood, black exaust burnt into the bumper, 14 different colors and a bunch of "Street Glow" stickers doesn't make you cool. And then they want to race me! I just dont understand it . . . just don't understand.

Edit: 1981 (Sorry, is it Will?), do you have some pix of your car?

big 3--that you turning into the pool neighborhood--if so i live just up the road.
If you have a bad rear seal they should fix that ok--if it is between housings then you may end up needing a new engine.
had a friend that had a leak in the mop line--where is yours coming from?

im calling HIJACKED real quick......They thought the leak was coming from the metering valve, now its still leaking and they say now it has liek "pin drop" oil spots around teh same area, they said I may get a new engine, but im not going to hold my breath on it. Yeah that was me turning in, i was picking somethign up at the pool, i flashed my brake lights at you, hoping you would follow me in.

have them check your front main seal, right behind the main lower pulley. They really have to clean all of the oil splatter off everything on the lower half of the engine to find the leak. They usually will not take the time or effort. Lucky for me, Chas over at Mazcare took the time. Also, check the back of your main pulley, does it look a little rusty, or is the surface discolored. after everything is clean, really clean, a quick, hard run up and down the streets had oil leaking out onto the back of the pulley. once it collects, it slings from the pulley, all over everything on the lower half of the engine, the belts, the MOP, the subframe. Everywhere. It makes it hard to figure out where it is all coming from. If this is the source of your leak, you won't need a new engine, and if you are still under warranty, even better. I would at least suggest to them to check it out, it would be a lot less time consuming for them, than giving you a new motor.

didnt realize you saw me.
If you like lets get together and look at your car. L8 is right on an we can check it out for ourselves. I have a really good rep with the service guys at the Mazda place and maybe I can be of some help.---they like doughnuts--hint-hint.
I plan on taking my front rotors off this saturday(getting ready for a track event) and that would be a good time for me. Seems that we live close to each other.
