Any RX-8 owners in Atlanta?

Hi,
I bought my RX-8 2 months ago and I'd like to get some advise from an owner in Atlanta GA about places to get oil changes and maintenance services.
Thanks for your time.

No, there are none. Did you not hear RX-8's have been banned from Atlanta?

Sherman burned all the RX8's in Atlanta during his march. Ohh Brett, is true they're all gone? Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!

Your best bet is to talk to charlie at mazcare in marietta off cobb pkwy. He knows all the right places for you!!!

FYI- Jiffy Lube Sucks!!!

Good luck with the new 8

Stay the hell away from Jim Ellis and Ed Voyles Mazda....Their techs dont know anything

I used to live in ATL. Well, I lived in Braselton...but close enough.

I can recommend Mazda of Roswell. They have at least one guy back there that is a Rotary specialist and really does a good job. I had all my warranty work done there. As for oil changes, I had those done at the same place for free under my maintenance program so I cannot tell you about the chain shops.

Oh, and welcome to the forum. Don't let the rudeness of the above posters run you off. Some have to open the sunroof to let their heads fit.

Yeah, there are a number of us here and Mazcare is the number 1 independant shop for Mazdas. Charlie owns an 8 himself. Jim Ellis Peachtree Industrial is pretty good for the standard stuff. Tell them, if you were to go there, that you want Juan or George to work on your car; they are both perfectionists.

I'm confused! I don't know whether to join in being rude or offer suggestions! I've never been rude to a newbie before. Guess I shouldn't change my ways. Then again... First post, hummmmm, I should be kind and offer suggestions. Well, you could . . . dang-it! (no be nice) ahmmmm, since Mazcare has already been mentioned and . . . damn-it-all... learn to search!

Sorry I was rude to you! Log on to http://garx8club.com. We tend to be a little more helpful over there for new comers and we know the best places to drain your oil. Most of us do it ourselves.

BUT PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and don't ask in this thread, "What type of oil to use"... PLEASE, for your own good, do a search.
