As your might note by my forum name, I'm in Tybee. I know at least one more 8 owner here, rotorboy. I was in Beaufort last weekend with the Charleston Miata Club. We're only about 60 miles apart. So, if you get the urge to meet, drop me a note. As information, there will be an autox at Hutchinson Island tomorrow and i'll be there to try the 8 out. If you get a chance drop in, but you have to get there by 9am.:D

sorry for the hijack..i am from Beaufort..just had to give a what's up to you guys!!!!...used to live on Salem Drive...if you know where that is,....used to shrimp down at the marshes and all...great fun as well as Paris Island i was actually in the paper back in 83 (age 8) for the annual water front festival...got the ole' pie in the face and then hose down from the firefighters....great fun....still go to Hilton Head for vacation..wife wants to actually move up there one day...take care..

I spent four years there when i was a Marine at the Air Station. I had a blast! Lots of good memories (and a few bad ones)

I was there right before they started building the new control tower. Left there in 95. It is one of the best places to be stationed.

hello I was stationed at the air station with the marines and lived in port royal... gota say I miss beaufort; lots of memories some good some bad :D, me and the wife miss the small town life... sometimes... now we are back in miami and u miss the peace and quiet of good all beaufort... We want to go back sometime and vacation in hilton head or something...

where are you guys from originally...

I'm from Puerto Rico my wife is from Ohio. At the end of the year we are moving to very south California. So south that the border is about 10 min away.

well I just want to say that I have sold both of my car including my baby (FD3S) and have stepped into the RX-8. I be picking it up tomorrow. I would post pics of here but she looks like any pearl white RX-8 on hte road but not for long, the rims on the FD will be going in the 8.

I live in Beafort if you know the area. Bought an 8 for my wife and I to drive now that the kids are in college. Red stock six speed (so far).

i figured i'd jump in on this thread too. Sorry! I have a house off Hilton Head and we come up every so offton to just hang out and such. I'm not too sure when the next time we'll be up will be, but i'd def. like to try to meet up with some of ya'll whenever that is!
