What's up Mr. Wilson. Haven't seen you around in a while. Howdy ALBlue. I'm here representing the 'ham too. I don't come over much, usually send my days on the "other" side of the web. Enjoy the drive.

CAMS is having a Tech day at the Trussville Mazda today.
I don't own an 8 but me, DON (HDP), and couple of other 7 owners will be there today.

Also, we will be re-organizing the MRCCAL again.. Hope this coming year, we'll have more gatherings (ie, trips to LeMans race in ATL, Races at Barber Track, Deals Gap event, Visit Jim Downing's shop in ATL, etc).

HB,
Please give us some notice so we can plan to attend your events. I really want to make some of your gatherings.

Stay tuned for Barber info - last year the GA gang attended the Grand Am Cup race there and met the SpeedSource team. We got discounted tickets and a special car corral parking in a primo spot. I have been in contact with the organizers and we hope to have a similar program. It would be awesome to show up with 20+ cars and root for the rotary powered Grand Am Cup and Rolex GT racers. When I get the deal finalized, I'll post a thread with the details. You will be able to buy tickets online.

Sorry about that guys.. I don't usually get on RX8 forum (since I'm a 7 owner).

The tech day is thru CAMS (Central Alabama Mazda Society). Annual fee is $20, but its well worth it. I was going to go but I was sick with the flu. I think the next gathering is in May?? Best person to contact will be Rotary Taz (Ernie).

Talking

I truly love my 8. Its a pleasure to drive. The dreaded gas mileage has improved to a whopping 17 mpg, but that's ok. I knew it when I purchased the car, and who doesnt have 5 minutes to check the oil every now and then. It is the most fun car I've ever owned by all means!!!!!! You'll love it!!!
