No idea on the car wash.

But if you go to the newly moved 1st. redlight after Mazda and take a left then the first right it is the first building on your right, you can probably see it from Mazda if you walk out front and look right.

So how did lunch go? Sorry I couldn't make it! I have just been swamped lately and looks like for sometime longer. I will try to show up at the next get together if possible!

Proud owner of RX8

Just bought an '04 GT, AT, nav system, the works. This car drives incredibly smooth and quick. I've had two MX5s ('01 and '02) in the past 4 years and they were phenominal, albeit small inside. I figured the 8 would give me more room and the same (or better) tight rear wheel drive.

Not having done enough research, I freaked out a little over the "flooded engine" posts and talk about cold cranking and cold turning off and the use of oil, but I figure the car will give me what I give it.

Looking forward to a great ride all over metro Birmingham and Alabama!

Hey everyone!! Sorry I missed the lunch. We're going to Mexico this Sunday for a week (vacation) so its been hectic trying to buy/wrap gifts before we leave. Hope everyone is well!

Welcome StGeorge! What color is your 8?

After the holidays, we need to plan another ride/lunch!

Happy Holidays all!!!!

Titanium Gray Metallic/Two-tone (black and red) leather interior. Same exterior color as my MX5 was ... still have the touch up paint from that car!

It's actually a great color on the 8...

I love the red/black interiors. So sporty! In regards to the engine..just be mindful and no cold turning off. The thing I've had issues with are the stupid melting sun visors. I'm on my 3rd drivers side visor. They simply cant stand up to the heat here in the summer. Oh well. I still love my baby though- even if she is awfully high maintenance.

It went Ok.. Met some new 8 owners from out of town and as always good to see Jamal!

We chatted and me and Chris head back to replace some bushings on our 7s.

Hmm.. I wonder if that was Ernie's old 8. I know it was loaded but don't remember if it was AT... anyhow, congrats!

Phil, Ernie's was manual with Blk/Chapporal (brown). Good to see everyone. Have fun L-Co. We missed you. I saw no less than 8 RX-8s yesterday between T'ville and Eastwood. I've never seen so many on the road in one day. Saw two on Crestwood, four or five on Gadsden Hwy and a couple more in Roebuck.

I second the welcome to Birmingham! Things have slowed down considerably for me. Definitely want to get together after the holidays.

Ok so my 8 has been sleeping in the garage for the past few days here in Trussville, AL. We need to go on a drive or something soon before she thinks I've abandoned her. Any takers or ideas??

I have way too much to do this weekend... three family birthdays among other things. But... I've never come to a get-together anyhow so it's not like my no-show shatters the group.

Morning everybody. So far, from email responses, no one can make this Saturday, but we have a couple of takers for next Saturday. I could do that too. What about everyone else? Maybe a cruise and lunch? Or just lunch would be fine too. I havent seen everyone in forever!
