I just got a new RX-8, and my fiancé has one as well. I'm new to the forum and was wondering if there is anyone close to middle TN, specifically the Murfreesboro/Nashville area? I was wondering if there are any RX-8 meetings that are held around that area??? Does anyone know?

You guys should consider DGRR 09. There are several rotary guys from Nashville/Murfreesboro area going. Also, I'll be heading to Murfreeboro area end of this month... then to Huntsville for a tuning session.

 

I live in the boro and own a 2005 rx-8. I dont know of any meetings here but alot of locals are on www.tvrx8.org i have looked at all you have done to your ride wikked and would love to see how those hand gas and breaks work thats just cool! Lol

 

I just moved from Murfreesboro but I go there alot for my girlfriend...I drive the yellow RX-8 with carbon fiber hood/trunk

 

Hey i lived at campus crossings south with you last year. I talked to you about buying an 8 in the parking lot one night. Well i got one lol. and i was messing with you a few weeks ago on middle tn blvd

there are car meets every saturday at essential offroad on mufresboro road, we could all meet there.

 

Every Saturday? What kind of cars go there? There is a cool club that has a Cruise in every Friday night in the boro. their web site is http://www.4mhrc.net/ but here are the details.

The Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club is proud to announce a new location for it's weekly Friday Night Cruise Ins in for 2009 & 2010, The Avenue Murfreesboro. The Cruise Ins will be held behind Belks, 2615 Medical Center Parkway. The Cruise Ins are open to all makes & models. Participants are asked to donate $1 to enter, there is no charge to spectators. All profits, after expenses, go to local charities.

There is always alot of different cars/trucks from old school chevelles :D to the GIANT trucks lol

 

every thing from civic's to ferrari's go the the one on saturdays...i've never personally attended it but my friend has

and the one at the avenue sounds like it's more for classic cars, i believe i've been to this one but at a different location.

 

I know it is a while off but I will be attending these if I can.

 

Yea it is mainly classic cars but they have everything. They used to be behind the old mall and then roses parking lot and now the new mall. But that one sounds cool. I may have to check it out one Sat. night.

 

yeah i know for a fact that the friday night one's are the ones i used to go to. we've got a 1950 studebaker we used to show in it.

yeah but the saturday night one would be a place to go see modern cars, and no joke they have like 2 or 3 ferrari's there

 

That would be cool with me if we can get all of us locals to roll up there together! That way there will be at least some other 8's there??? Any one down one sat. when the weather is nice and not SNOWING!

 

yeah i would definately be down to go, but i've got a pretty tight schedule because i play baseball on most weekends.

 

Whats up guys, im new to the forums but am excited to b a part of it, im located in nashville but go to the boro every week and im movin there in the fall...i wouyld love to meet some other rx8 owners in my area so if u wanna kick it or set up a meet and go ridin sometime let me know i own a Winning Blue Rx-8 GT so post back and lets set it up...

 

I am down any time. . . I get to the Boro about this time each day during the week... after a long day at work doing this I could use a nice curvy road to relax!

 

Hey Red71Chevelle, My fiance is WikkedOne. He said he met you at a red light in the 'Boro.We all need to get together for a meet somewhere in town.

 

Yea we do that would be fun. I posted above about a car show at the new mall. Alot of old cars are there but there alot of new ones too. If we could get a group together then ride in to that car show together would be cool!

 

I'm down for the car show, my gf actually works at that Belk ha shes having to promote it so i guess the least i can do is role up to support us but i would like to arrive with a crew to show up strong.

 

Ok since no one else will step up i say we meet at wal-mart parking lot on south rutherford may first at six o'clock and then ride in together if thats ok with everyone? It starts at five till nine if you all think another time is better let me know i am up for anything.

 

^ good luck man i've been trying to get the tennessee people together for over a year and it seems i'm the only one who ever shows up so i no longer participate in events listed in the tennessee valley area.

Well I hope we get at least a few to show I dont care if it is just Wikked and Pwinkie and me thats better than just one! And I will def. be there so if ya want to show you wont be the only one this time!

 

Wow way to throw me under the bus with my big mouth. Unfortunately this time I have an excuse but at least it's a good one. Just bought a house and we should be closing in 3 weeks. If I'm moved in I'll see about showing but I doubt I'll be able to make it.
