Yeah, I'm from Nashville. Trying to locate some rotary tuners around here.. Anyone got any clues?

 

Nashville as well, & I see some RX-8s around, but I do not think many of them post here, since I never see anything.

Anyway, there is a silver at Belmont that I see from work everyday, & I noticed that someone just got a black, no spoiler, 8 & tinted the windows dark dark, because I thought my car had been stolen when I saw it creeping around my workplace.

I passed a green on the way to work several days ago, gave the thumbs up, but I don't know who it was, or if they even saw since I was screaming by trying to get to work.

Nashville, TN here, just moved here about 2 monthes ago. Got a sunlight silver, no wing, dark *** tinted windows, and silver stakes on the side. I work downtown and park right next to a black/grey rx-8 yet havent seen who drives it yet. I ran down 65 in rush hour traffic one day with another silver one and we had a great time weaving through traffic. anyhow if yall ever meet up let me know (ultimalaw@gmail.com), im a 23 year old male btw, hope to see yall biatches on the road....if you wave ill probably throw you back the finger, dont be pissed its a sign of respect!!!!

Not is Nashvegas, but just east of Knoxvegas. And there are a lot of RX-8s in my town (Morristown) mainly driven by middle aged women- even two more winning blue ones. But you really can't expect lots of young people to be driving cars in this price range.

Nashville here. Just got a blue /w spoiler over the weekend. I'm loving this car so far. I work downtown as well, and drive murfesboro rd. almost every day. Give me a wave sometime if you think it's me.

 

I visit every 6 wks or so, but usually not in the 8. I rarely ever see any 8s in town.

 

I am in Memphis but goto Nashville once a month or so. Would be nice to meet other rx-8 owners around. There are very very few here from what I've seen.

 

Someone is cruising around West End, Belmont area (or was, I haven't seen them in a few weeks) in a black, no spoiler, dark tinted windows.

I thought someone stole my car when I first saw it go by outside work, dark dark windows, no external mods...

But, obviously it was not. If you are around, stop & chat, I am always around the area, working, or in downtown proper at Bailey's, or Merchants.

Anyone know a good place to get the exhaust/muff. done here in nashville, only been here a few monthes so not too familiar with the good custom shops around here, any mod/custom shops that people work great on our RX-8's? i need to find a one-stop mod. shop for this thing up here, lemme know, thanks!

I goto Nashville every month or two. Most of the rotary guys hang out in Murfreesboro, TN at David Garfinkle's. We would love to see some of you 8 owners.

As long as you guys (8 owners) don't mind hanging out with some 7 owners, I'll let you guys know next time we gather at his place..

 

Murfreesboro here. Well, I'm really just south of the boro in Christiana. I work over in Cool Springs too so I get to put about 90 miles a day on mine. I've actually got 42000 on it already!

Mines Titanium. I had a full exhaust and a Canzoomer box on it for a while. I took it off twice for emmisions and just got tired of that dumb little check engine light. I may save up enough for a high temp cat. Trouble is, I really need a transmission for the car on my avitar. I've seen one other titanium, one yellow, your black one, and I think there is a red one around here somewhere.

Have you evey taken your car out to an SCCA event? I tried it once. Tons of fun. The seven minutes of track time was a blast. Bummer was I we all had to bake in the sun on the track all day for those glorious seven minutes. Still, I may try it again next year. Hope to see you around soon.

 

SCCA?? Where are these held?? where can I find info on the next one? I would love some track time!! Tell Me More Muscles......

 

Local SCCA events are held regularly at the Nashville Speedway (out in Lebanon actually). The racing is fun but expect to work the track when your not driving which will be most of the day. You'll need a helmet and there is a small fee for each event. You'll also need to register on-line for whatever event you wish to attend. I was at Nelson Mazda today dropping off my 8 for an oil change, and there was a white 8 witha spoiler. Is the owner on this site?
