Hey! You can do both - this event is April 3rd. Should be lots of seat time for the money. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=22774

I went for the first time last weekend....soo damn fun!
You only need to be there before 9:00 on Sat. to register. If you do the novice school you get more track time.
Sunday, be there early though.

I'll be going over to Ft. Meyers early Sat. morning. I have been there several times now and highly recommend the site. Occasionally it gets a little over crowded and the seat time gets a little restricted but it's usually a good time. My brother and I have made hotel res. for Sat. night so that we can be there for Sat without having to make the alley run back and forth twice. See ya there : )

I bet it is :D
Huy buddy, It's Yuri. Even with restricted seat time on saturday, I dont think it will be less than 3 50 second runs right? So right there it's worth it :D

So I forgot to buy film and didnt take any pics.
Oops.
Anyway, it was a whole lotta fun. Did the instructed track for a couple hours, worth about 9 or 10 runs, back to back. Nice little track, about 28 second when the smart guys did it. After lunch (Mmm... sausages...) it was of to the test and tune track. Average run time was around 40, fastest was a 34 I think. This track remains the same all year, so you can practice different stuff on a familiar track and see what works or not. Then on sunday (what I'll be missing for work ) they make a single huge mile long track.
Damn I wish I could afford to skip this job. But I need money for the car, so what can ya do.
It was a blast and well worth the drive even for 1 day. We got 3 runs on the tune track, but if we had worked for 30 minutes, we woulda gotten another 3.
