Best Service in Upsate SC?
Just wondering if anyone had suggestions on a dealer in Upstate SC Anderson/Greenville area that is the best for service and possibly who to stay away from if anyone has had a bade experience. I also would like to know who might be closest to me that was good with performance work.

Thanks, that is where I bought mine which is only a couple miles from me. They do not carry any performance stuff but seem pretty decent for service. I found that McKinney Mazda is more experienced with accessory stuff. I was hoping to find a performance shop like I use for my sportbikes that can optimize engine and chassis performance. Looks like I will have to rely on mail order self installed options from what I have seen so far.

I bought my SS 8 in Raleigh at Capital, and have since relocated to Gaffney. I have been to Vic Bailey several times for service. I have not tried the dealership in Gastonia.
Slightly negative things: I had a CEL they couldnt fix (3-4x) but the first M flash did. They have mounted my new tires with a minor (fixable) scratch on one wheel. They changed my oil and didnt fully secure the dipstick (I made then rechange the oil). I have a back deck rattle they couldnt fix (ade it a little worse). I am going back soon to get the pads TSB put on and so they can fix the grease streak someone left on the passenger door when they put my tires on and serviced my car last week.
Slightly positive things: I received free touch up paintat one of my service trips there. They charge me 25 for their full (instead of 35?) oil change service. They didnt complain about having to rechange the oil after I said they left the dipstick loose. They dont memorize the TSB list, so I print out the ones I want and they are good about it (M flash and pads TSB).
They are ok if you keep an open eye. I dont look to a dealer to give me a warm fuzzy feeling for me being oblivious.
I do however feel more comfortable taking my car to get service at a Mazda/Lincoln service place than a plain Mazda dealership. If they can treat Lincolns right, Ill give em a shot.
Basicllay, Vance at Vic Bailey has not pissed me off, so I will keep going. If you treat people like inferior pieces of crap, theyll do you the same. Give em some respect, theyll do you the same. Overall theyve been good so far.
Hope this info helps, but Spartanburg seems far for you.

I go to Vic Bailey because I have not had any problems with them so far. Any TSB I wanted they have done with no complaint and I didn't even have to print it out. I only mentioned that my brakes were squealing and they ordered new pads. I appreciate the low prices at Vic too. My services have been in the low $20s.
John Finger would probably be my first choice though because their technician is at a higher certification, but I don't have the time to drive out that far for my services, especially because Vic has not messed up yet. John Finger used to be a pretty reknown rotary racer and the dealership is supposed to have a lot of aftermarket parts so I don't the dealership would give much hassle about modifications.
