If you are an RX8 owner and you live in any part of Alabama and particularly in the central AL/Birmingham area, CAMS (the Central Alabama Miata Society), our local Miata club, invites you to our regular Tech Day at Trussville Mazda on Saturday, January 8, 2005, beginning at 8:00am.

My name is Ernest and I own both an RX8 and Miatas.

Even though CAMS is a Miata oriented club, we welcome any and all Mazda models to join our club.

We are a structured club with dues, and monthly business meetings and activities.

At Tech Day, as a member of the club, you get to work on your car in the service area (use of the lifts). We do such things as oil changes, shocks, exhaust, timing belts, headers, etc., jsut to give you an idea.

If you are free this Saturday, come check us out. As a club member, I think you would enjoy what we do.

sounds great, but I don't think i can make this meeting.....when is the next one???

 

Our, CAMS, next meeting will be our regualr monthly business meeting, the third Thursday of each month (January 20) at Ranelli's on 20th Street south, just south of Five Points South, at 6:45pm.

We have an event (driveout) tentatively scheduled for February 12. I will post details as we firm up the plans We try (sometimes it doesn't happen) to schedule our driveouts on the second Saturday of each month.

The two scheduled get-to-gethers on the second Saturday and the third Thursday are an attempt to make it easy to remember when we have an event.

If you can't make it to Tech Day, try to catch us on January 20 at Ranelli's.

Wish you could make it MrWilson, was looking forward to checking out another VR 8. Hope to see and meet some other Mazda owners. Maybe the 7 owners will make an appearance too.

 

I might have to make it saturday.....just got a CEL on my way to work this a.m......if I can't get off work and have the problem fixed by saturday then it's a good bet that I'll be seeing you guys then.......bummer.....

 

oh well........looks as if I'll be making the trip to trussville later today........i'll let you guys know what the problem is.......or hopefully what the problem was!!!!
