Body Shop - Charlotte Area

A raccoon charged at me the other night and mangled my front air dam!
I'm ordering a new one, but don't know who to have install it. The dealership I
usually go to - Montgomery, broke my wheel locks when they did my tire rotation. They blamed the dealership who I bought it from - Donald Craig...so I don't want to bring it to either place. Harrelson has a body shop, but I'm scared!
I know it's not that big of a job, but neither is rotating tires!!

I bought mine at Harrelson and took my car there a few times for service but became disappointed after dealing with the service department a few times. The service rep didn't really listen to me when I stated problems - assumed she already knew what I was talking about and brushed me off. I ended up taking my car to the Mazda dealer in Concord on Hwy 29/601. Service department is pretty good there. They brought PCM flash updates to my attention when I was there for a tire balance. One of the mechanics seems to have been working on the RX's for a while now and was very helpful. I'm in the "Sandbox" right now in the military so I can't run out to the gararge and tell you the name of the dealership (can't remember the name off the top of my head), but I think they are the only one in Concord. I plan on returning to that dealership with any future issues my car may have.

With all that said, for body work, you may want to try a body shop. I've used only one in Charlotte after my wife tore up a Camry. I took it to Wilburns (sp?) off from Independence. I thought they did a pretty good job although that was about 10 years ago - alot can change in 10 years!

Hope this helps.

Thanks Herkypilot! I did not have a good experience at Harrelson when I went there for an oil change. They put my engine cover on wrong and when I asked what grade oil they put in, they couldn’t tell me! What are PCM flash updates? Never heard of this before.

A couple of people here in Charlotte also recommended Wilburns. I will check them out.
Also will look up your dealership in Concord.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I also would like to thank you for what you’re doing over there for us all. I pray for you guys every day. My thoughts are also with your wife. If
my husband was over there, I swear I would lose my mind! Take care of yourself and let
us know when you’re back in the states so we can get together with our 8s.

***Happy Anniversary!! I also celebrated my 8's year anniversary back in December.
