Car shows???

Hey all. I am looking for some car shows to attend in the March-June time frame (to fulfill contractual obligations), and I am having a hard time finding them. Hot Import Nights in Orlando and Georgia are out for me because of my work schedule, but if anybody has any info on some shows, let me know. Thanks.

I know for sure that there is one on Feb 6th (not Mar-Jun, I know, I know) in Pensacola..., Mopar Show or something. Cool Cars of Pensacola will be there, boringkj was talking about it at the meet. he's probably got some details.

Mar 18/19 - Tuner Bash, Daytona, FL
Apr 10 - Battle of the Imports (mainly drag & audio, but there's a car show as well), Orlando, Fl

And only in The South:
Mar 5/6 - Dave & Ed's: Pro-Formance Swap Meet, Panama City, Fl\

ScudRunner....go to www.panhandlecruisers.org and there's an upcoming events link that lists out around 10 local shows within the next few months.

Why couldn't I find that site when I was looking for it..., been looking for something like that site for months. Man boringkajj, you have all the hook-ups.

scud: To tell the truth, I had uhm, a lepracaun, uhm, erm... well, uh my dog..., uh... no, well.... I swear, it took a **crap** load of digging with google. two-three days (on and off). Not just one search and "bam", it took quite a few.

I'm kind of sponsored right now so I might have to attend a few shows (3 local). I wouldn't mind going anyway, I'm just not crazy about the deal I have. One of my sponsors is giving me a "partial-sponsorship", gets me a 50% discount (from list price) on all audio components and free shipping. Problem with that is they have a good scam going... their list price is double from crutchfield/best buy/circut city/etc... The other sponsor is with a vinyl/decal company. Yeah, uhm, no thanks. I can't really talk much about it because of the contract, but let me just say that they're a major sponsorship-agency featured in many tuner/car/import mags. Don't use them. You'll be out $89. Not a lot for a simple lesson, but enough for me. I'm working on getting the contract cancelled.

scud, I may have been able to find shows..., but how'd you find a good sponsored w/o being screwed?

boringkajj, I see two of your cars on that site. Saw your police cruiser at the center a few days ago. have you decided which car you're bringing this weekend?

At least you're getting "actual" wholesale prices for yours. Probably the same company... :o

What parts have you been able to get at wholesale and what was the price difference? If you can say that is...

I tried to talk my wife into letting me get a full car detail. I saw their work on boringkajj's car, costs about $89. Lissa replied, "honey, you already blew $89 this month, good luck doing it again." lol, guess I'm in the dog house.

Found a pensacola racing/carshow website. Actually, I tell a lie, a good friend of mine gave it to me.

http://www.racingpensacola.com/

I haven't found the calender yet, but I'm told one is there. It's possible it is on the forums as well. I'm registering and will take a look.

UPDATE
From the looks of it, it's mostly punk street racers. But they have a few events listed. It's mainly the import tuner scene. But I did find one event that might be worth looking at for you:

np, I dropped into V&T. It's funny, I had referred you over there before ever going myself. Nice place. I think they'll be hooking me up with some rims. He remembered working on your car. But he didn't know you as scudrunner... LOL

Wouldn't you know it, I'm TDY and will be for both of them. I think the Air Force hates my car.

From: United Kingdom, for now
Panama City...

I hit the one in PCB this weekend. www.emeraldcoastcruizin.com Designated for Hot Rods, but there were 2 Vipers, half a dozen not-too-old mustangs (one 05), and even a Lambo. An RX-8 would not have stood out TOO much. Decent show, all and all. The NAS airshow this weekend was more worthwhile, though.
