Okay, are you ready for the 3rd Annual Challenge????

The time has come again to see who can get the most Miatas out! By the time you read this i will have already posted it on the SunRiders Forum, and they will be ready for us! So here is the deal!

Here is the CHALLENGE for the clubs, to see which club can show up with the most Miatas or RX-8s! We will meet up to take a head count and enjoy some good food, and great company. Plus we can take over the parking lot with Miatas! There is pleanty of overflow parking in the lot next door too. hehehee

This year I would like to invite the RX-8 Club to see how strong their showing is. Mantis , or Evil-Eight, can you please post this on the National RX8 board.

I have attached some pictures from last year's meet. This is a Sonics approved event.

I think the Miata groups think we dont have enough coordination to pull this off . The last two meets we had 5-8 RX-8s show and this is going to be a big meet. Anyone interested? Who thinks they can come? We may need some Orlando help on this one.......

 

the miata group is threatened by our potential. can you imagine that?

 

Bad timing for me...taking the 8 on a roadtrip to Tennessee on the 15th or I would show. Stopping in Atlanta to see King's X www.kingsxonline.com. Hopefully I dont see much snow...lol.

Hi Guy321, this is at the Sonics closest to the Gandy Bridge on the Tampa side.

If you were coming from CLW you would take US19 towards St Pete. Hop on Park Blvd after the SuperWalMart (left turn lane under overpass). Then you would stay on that road (pass entrance for 275) until you go over the Gandy Bridge. It is on the left hand side past the first light or two.

This meet is a casual group of Mazda enthusiasts. This is not a street racing type event. And, is a Sonics approved meet.

 

I'll be out there. I've got a friend's party to go to in Tampa friday night, so I'll stop by sonics for a few hours before

 

and oh yeah...MY CAR IS FIXED

so with that said it's time for caravan redemption. no longer am i limited to experiencing only 65mph and from the passenger seat at that!

hmm i alwayz wind up not going or showing up too late to these meets... but this friday i actually have off and was thinkin of headin out to a club in tampa fri nite anywayz so i guess this is just another reason to lead me out there....85% COUNT ME IN

It sounds like we might have a decent turnout of rx-8s there! I would personally like to out number the Miatas, but one can only dream.

I had a nice time last year. I had owned my car for one week and was able to keep up with a turbo Miata that I ran into on my way there.

You must come RX8Honey! Any new parts on your car yet??????

 

I pick my wheels up this weekend and I'm waiting for the RB air duct. Should be in, in about a week.

 

Leave it to the girls to have all the style, Danny excluded from that commet !! My wheels will be in this week too!!! I am so excited!!!!! Don't tell me what you got though! I want to see you roll up in em.

Have fun with the air duct. Let me know if you can feel a difference. I counldn't tell if I was imagininging it or not.

 

Hey you guys!!!!

It's tonight and sounds like it is going to be a good meet.

I am meeting up with a group of cars in Brandon that will drive over together if anyone wants to drive with us. We will arrive at 8pm the latest.

There may be enough of you going that are on the other side of the bay that you may want to meet up and drive over together also.

Anyone need directions, or are the ones in the earlier thread good enough?

 

I will try to make it after work. I will also try to get my friends with 8's to get up off their asses and go out. Can't promise anything though, they are really lazy!

 

I'm in! At the last second, I pulled the waxy razor away from my wrists. Lisa's sick of me asking permission to invite strippers, so now I can go to the meet. (FYI, my Fiancé is hosting a F-ing Partylight tonight. Think Tupperware party for candles) So where is the Brandon meet? I might be able to cruise with you guys, but heading out to Brandon will add 20 minutes to my drive.
