Dont go to Kendal Mazda!

Dont go to Kendal Mazda!
If your around the area (miami, FL) and plan to get a Mazda avoid these retards.
For starters it took me about 6 hours of fighting with these people to get the car to a good price. I was just looking at the car and made it very clear many many times "I'm just looking" (I did plan to buy a Rx8 that weekend anyways just wanted to check a few places first). They claimed they understood that. After the test drive, they haned me a paper that said the car will cost 32,861$ and to just sign the bottom and they'd run my credit. Thats when the fun start and I told them, they must be out of their freaking minds if they think I'm gonna pay any where close to that.
I kept hearing this is the lowest I can go or I lose money! Then 5min later the price went down more and more. When all was said and done they put my car down as it had 4miles on it. When it really had 40miles on it. I had already been like 6 hours and I really didnt care anymore so I just over looked it.
I think I did ok cause I walked out the door totaly finished for 4K under sticker price.
They send me home with my new mazda Rx8 at like 10pm. I was worn out and just wanted to get the crap fest over with.
Next day I noticed the car has no floor mats or toe hitch covers also the car had no Key for the rim locks. So I hop into the car to head to the dealer and request the parts. The sun was kind of brite so I went to pull down my visor and.. it snaps off and falls infront of me on the expressway. It's hanging on by the power light cord and blocking my vision of the road (pretty freaking scary in a new car your not used to yet). I have to pull over and unscrew it so I can see the road again. When I get to the dealer I request all the parts and they were good about getting it to me.
Here 3 weeks later I get a late notice on my car payment. They still havent payed off my trade in car. So now I need to go deal with these people again to make sure they pay off my trade in so it doesnt mess up my freaking credit. /sigh..
What next...

I don't do buisness in South Miami, too many people trying to rip you off. Dealing with dealerships is a hit or miss kinda thing. Sometimes you run into good ones, but most of the time you run into the worst of the worst.

Trekk...
What happened to you is not uncommon in the car sale industry... its a process and having worked for Maroone as a manager in the past i know about this process... so its not new... generally between checking the car and the delivery of a vehicle its about 5 hours. It takes less if your credit beacon score is above 800 and you can pretty much sign and drive.. everyone pays dealer service fees unless you are smart and know that its only a bogus charge so the dealership gets a little sumtin sumtin extra in their pocket.
Dealerships get money from the manufacturers... its called Hold Back money that is paid to the dealership to park the vehicle on their lot .... the managers dip into this money when they have to bargain or deal on the price ... so lets say they have a 600 dollar hold back and $1,000.00 in your trade... what they actually have is $400.00 in your trade and they will sell the car to a wholesaler for about 1/2 of that and still make a profit because their wholesalers will sell the car off at the auction. Its a racket..
If you finance thru a credit union they will not make you pay the dealer service fee which is just pocket money... the credit unions know about this trick and they will not be charged but the average joe doesnt know so he or she pays.
When you go thru the internet sales department of which i was a Manager of the price via the internet sales department is much lower than walking off the street.. the reason for this is that the internet salesperson works on a totally different commission scale than the car shark that greets you outside.. their commission structure is different and they also get paid on the hold back... usually the price over the internet will be 3-5 percent above invoice. which is better than walking into the dealership.
When you fill out the online app and you insert your ss# and click on authorize your credit is run and they are protected because of the fine print on the website.. people dont realize this but its in there... its a catch 22 situation.
The supposed Environmental Protection Package is another bogus charge in order to make more money off of you. Its called an Addendum which will be about $900.00 to $ 1,200.00
Carpet mats dont usually come with a car unless it says so on the sticker price label.
When i had people tell me "Im just looking.. I am not here to buy a car today" that to me was a clear indication that the person was going to drive off in a car... its an automatic assumed sale... we would keep you there till we broke you down. You see you got my money in your pocket and you are not leaving til you hand it over. I rarely lost a sale because someone told me that they were just looking.... yeah right... get them in the car for a test drive and they fall in love with the car... after that they were mine.
There is a rule that goes like this: "The first one that speaks loses.... "
You are negotiating and you are asked a question with your pen in hand... the true Grant Cardone sales guy will not say a word.. he will just stare and not say a word.. if he does .. he loses.
There are lot of other things that i know that I cannot place on here but I have bought cars for all of my family members, cousins and even my mom's Mercedes... you wouldnt believe what I got her a C240 Benz for...

I got out of Kendall Mazda with $8.5K off MSRP... so far they have treated me very very well in the service department also. I did haggle with Richard (the GSM) for about 5 hours before I got the price I wanted, but the last thing he said to me as he handed over the papers was
"You really beat the **** outta me today..."
The deal is there if youre willing to work for it, I think you could have done better personally. Im upset to hear someone unhappy with Kendall Mazda though, I was very pleased with my experince there, maybe you just have some bad Karma or sumthing??? Hehe. Well GL with everything, and come out to the meets at Tangos pizza!

Guys I bought my car at CityPlace Mazda in Jupiter or LakeWorth. I hate buying in South Fl. Guys please help me find a great place to service and buy lots of parts. Let me know of a local parts place other than Mazda. Thanks
