Lets see now. She said: "Yoooooooo - how will you explain a "guy" day when one of us "girlies" shows up in her RX-8 - in bright yellow to boot? Now I'll have to really try and get there. Anyone going to caravan from WPB? Taking the Turnpike?"

Indicating irony at a guy thing having a female person (herself) in a yellow car show up.

Next she asks if anybody from her general area is caravaning up, and I indicated a reply in the afirmative.

I dont understand how you deduced I was either female or driving a yellow car from that.

 

how lucky you would be on both accounts - lol - I thought that was pretty funny too - and not to disappoint but we're talking an "older" girlie here (who still couldn't talk her way out of that ticket outside Gaiensville) - lol

 

Fortunately for me, since I am not female or have a yellow RX8, I have suplemented with finding a female to scoot into my gray RX8.

And, uh, I wear yellow shirts!

Ok, I did a little recon today, here's youre debriefing:

Cliff Notes: Titan is way too small, we need a park.

Here's titan:

way too small, and it's unlikely those spots will be free on a sat anyway

About 3 Miles away is a small park right on 50, I counted 30 spots, but again on a weekend they're likely to be full:


Another park about the same distance from Titan, J. Blanchard Park. This is my vote.

The last 2 are the same field, but I had to take 2 pics since it was so big.

And because I couldn't resist :D




So what I was thinking was, we can still do the dyno day, but we all stay at the park and then go in shifts to Titan to get dynoed, and then come back. The titan lot is very small, and difficult to get in and out of. According to my NAV these were the two closest parks to Titan, but there may be better ones off to the west.

 

if you do it at a park we can set up a bbq for lunch or something as well, which would be good.

 

my vote goes for the 2nd park with the huge field.

 

I second that we can throw down a nice BBQ there, we could do some rx-7 polo in the field too.

That looks like a kick *** spot to me. Is MRCCFL still going to BBQ? Or whats the plan on that? Im game for eatting in a big *** park and getting some nice pics.

hell, more than 4 is way too many to handle for me anyway

 

MRCCFL can handle the BBQ. $5 to cover food and drinks for all day.
Once we get a better head count MRCCFL can set stuff up for the food.

That way all you have to do is show up and enjoy, no worries about cooking or bringing charcoal or whatever.

First off...The whole thing about it being a "guy" day when girlies are showing up....I don't know if any of you rememeber...BUT I'M A GIRL AND I ORGANIZED THIS WHOLE THING!!! lol! So basically, it started off as a GIRL day, and then fortunatly turned into 99.8 percent guys..and .2 girls...hehe

Second thing...Nero *from titan* has yet to get back to me about the lot...Looks like the Dyno may be out too... Sad day, but I'm still trying to contact him on that..regardless, it will be a fun day for all

Fourth..is the food 5 bucks per person? That seems like an awsome amount.

Seventh...Deb: Sorry about the ticket...Who is the person that you know that goes to UF? *name wise* I was here all weekend, driving my pretty, yet dirty, rx8 around town...I live by campus too...wish you had seen me...oh well, regardless, you'll see me the 24th!

And finally, now that I've made this msg. long enough...I'm very glad that all of this is coming together...the 24th will be my first sat. off of work in 2 months...yay! I really cannot wait to meet everybody and what not.. *I feel like a little school girl again!! Oh wait...I am only a little school girl.. On Titan: Is the dyno out cause nero is trying to schedule the dyno with the RX7club.com guys? May be why he is hesitant to give you an answer? I don't know, but maybe let him know that you know about the RX7club.com guys being there and that we just wanted to be spectators and some pulls/no tuning?

It may be .2 girls but you gals are still too much for all of us to handle.

Yea eddie, that was awsome in a good way. I expected it to be more than 5 bucks. Thats cheep as hell!!

Titan is just a pain in the *** to work with in the first place. I'm going to call him again tomrrow and bug him. Nero is friends with some friends of mine, and from what i understand, it can be difficult geting asnwers from him.

The only reason us girls are hard to handle is because you boys just don't kow how to handle us...You guys only know how to handle cars..but one day...you will learn... *at least car girls aren't as high maintance as 99.9% of girls!*
