Ok--So heres the deal...I talked to some of the supra guys who set up their big meet. If we want to rent out a Dyno we can do it at Titan *sp* motorsports. I'm going to call them tomrrow and ask if we can just use their parking lot. Everything else should fall in place once I have found out a set in stone meeting spot. i think this place will work out fine. They're nice people and have a huge lot.

The sound pics are a couple Borla wavs I found on the internet. There is the revving one on the "Rides" page and a Borla going through the gears on the "Orlando" page. I can associate just about any sound or midi file to any page. If you want a special sound or song attached to your page or section, let me know what sound or which song. If the song was written, I can probably find it's midi on the internet. Remember, these will be midi files, which is digitally reproduced music. No lyrics...

The RX8club.com website is a great place to meet and read opinions and perspectives. The MazdaGraphics will allow members to post pictures in one section, and not have it get buried under mountains of newly created threads.

We WILL be taking pictures at the meet. :D

I'm down for a shirt. I'll see what kinda graphics I can whip up in the next few days.

As for the meet, me and some guys were talkin tonight at the Tampa Bay mini meet. The consensus was that we should try and get a dyno day (or something to make it worth meeting at Titan) to do during the day, and also plan something in the evening. Not too far from Titan is a really nice bowling alley, so that's a thought. Pretty much anything you could ever want to do is in Orlando, so throw out some suggestions.

We'll probably need Titan's permission to use their lot, and if we're not spending any money with them there's a good chance they'll say no. Their lot is kinda back off the main roads a bit, but it is an option. My vote's on race rock, since there's food, water, and toilets right there.

 

Count me in! Spotted a Silver RX-8 at the Altamonte Mall tonight with liscense starting X26. Anyone on the list and will you be attending?

i would love to lay down a base dyno for a comparison to future mods...and bowling sounds like a plan and i think BlueGrim will agree...haha

 

Ok little boys!!:D I'm really glad that everybody is this excited about the meet! I'm also glad that for once, something i do actually works!!! I forgot to call titan the other day, so i'm doing it first thing monday morning. I talked to some RX-7 guys up in Orange Park last night, and they seemed interested in the Dyno too. I think that would be a smart idea to rent out.

At night time, I would say we could go clubbing or something...BUT the fact that I'M only 17 sorta puts a small hitch in that idea. So bowling and food sounds fine to me...hehe! But then again, we ARE in orlando, and there is a TON to do there...So i'm sure finding stuff to do will NOT be a problem.

As far as the t-shirts....I don't know if we'd want to put the "RX-8 Club.com" on the front b/c RX-7 guys and maybe S2K and some others will be there, not to mention, i think we can come up with something a little more orginal...*not that it's a bad idea..i'm just saying* I'll throw some ideas out there later today. Just wanted to keep you guys updated!

I think the race rock would be cooler than titan unless we get the dyno IMO. Anyways keep us posted.
