Rx8honey just told me about this (THANKS honey!) but I remember someone else bringing it up a while back. Sorry...I don't come to the SE section like I should.

With that said I don't think I'll be able to make it, sadly.

My wife wont be getting maternity leave pay so we will have to save up 2 months worth of her paycheck in the next 4 months...so, I'm on a tight budget. Trust me when I tell ya that I would love to have lunch with you all and play with the go karts (the dyno would have been sweet also but I still don't have enough miles on mine to put it through a dyno) but I don’t think I’ll make it.

Maybe I'll sell some stuff on eBay or something...lol, so I can at least have lunch with you all.

So...put me down as a "probable" but don't hate me if I don't make it, lol. Thanks again Honey…

I just got off the phone with Race Rock. The date is ours and they will have it roped off. He will call me the week of the event and I can notify him of any changes. I'll get there earlier so I can help point people in the right direction.

Do we have any preference as to eating arrangments? They can seat us as a big group or we could split off into smaller groups.

Just got my 8 and I need to take it for a long drive. I don't know much about rotary engines, but fell in love with it the minute I test drove my 8. Sign me up if there's room. Hope you guys don't mind lots of questions from a newbie.

not at all, as Jerry said there will be rx7s and rx8s and last year a handful of miatas showed up (me included) as well as a few other car that were running on rotary power, I know this year my friend will be out in his MSprotege...so it turned into a mazda/rotary meet. it was a good time, and I got to see some rx7s with the 99+ body kit....

Is there anyone local (central FL/orlando area) that wants to meet up and have a cruise down to race rock? PM/IM me

Yes, I'm liking where this is going! We almost got up to 40 cars from rx7club and we have about 20 more from here. I know there will be some more cars that will show up at the last minute. Keep spreading the word Lesha, you're doing a great job!!!!
