Hey everyone. Please add me and Mr. L-Co to the list of attendees. We'll be bringing the 8 to park in the corral too as far as I know.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Food for Saturday

Looks like we have a lot of people coming for this event. The food situation is as follows:
======================================
FOOD & GOODIES
======================================

- SilverEIGHT: ICE Cold Watermelon
- jdeberhart: Cookies
- rxeightr: Chicken Wings (ummmm yummy!)
- L8APEX: couple coolers, put some beers, cokes, and stuff
- chrisg: cooler with beer, soda, water, etc.
- Gimlet: Water, fresh fruit and munchies
- TrackAddict: Hotdogs
- MsLabop: Brownies & Vegie Hot Dogs
- whenson417: 4 layer chocolat desert

======================================

I am guessing a bunch of people are just buying food at the track rather than wanting to participate in the potluck. It would be great to know how many people want to bring food and share. Otherwise we can all just decide to fend for ourselves. I think we need a deadline of Thursday by 12 noon to speak up and be counted.

ScreaminRX8 & Phlash:

I went to the BARBER website and found the following information but I don't know how it applies to us since we are a group purchase. I STRONGLY suggest you call the number below and ask them. Be sure to tell them you are with the GA RX8 Club group.

============================================
(205)327-RACE or 1-800-240-2300

"Children 12 & under are admitted free with a paying adult. (Paddock access is extra for all ages)"

If we all get in the paddock free because we are part of the club. I'm not sure I understand why kids would have to pay. I'm still not satisfied as that is not the answer I was hoping for.

TrackAddict, can you call your contact at BARBER and make sure this is correct. I'd hate for members of our group to spend money for something they don't have to.

When they say 12 and under, surely they don't include babies who will be carried in a body carrier. It's not like she can walk around or anything. I guess I'll have to call and check.

The car club deal is to give free paddock access with the purchase of a ticket. Last year I had to buy Danielle a paddock pass now that I think about it.

If everyone shows up, we are looking at around 45 to 50 people including the young ones.

Anybody need tickets?

I can't go this weekend guys. I have to deliver the restoration RX7 and this is the only time we could do it. I hate that I can't go but I do have the Saturday ticket package if anyone was holding out. Let me know here or call my cell @ 404-202-4332 if interested. Sylvain has tried to get in touch w/me a couple times about the weekend and he is expecting to see all of you but I have not spoken back w/him so no details. The GT car will not be running this weekend.

Charlie
