Tickets for this race for car clubs are not yet available. You can buy regular tickets already but they have not set up the car club purchases yet. Don't worry about tickets getting sold out. This isn't the Bristol Nascar race so tickets will be available even at the gate.

What we plan on getting is a similar deal to last year which was a discounted ticket and a car club corral set up. If I remember correctly, we ended up saving about $10 off the regular price.

Believe me I am on this and will post as soon as I hear back from my contact at Zoom Motorsports, the folks that run Barber. I have emailed the lady a few times and she told me she is on it. I don't want to pester her too badly.

My upcoming instructor for CMP in July is Rob Whitener with Roar Racing. I asked him if the Roar Racing Team would spend a little time with us during the Barber event. Here is his quote:

"Of course the club is welcome to come spend some time with us in the paddock. We will do our best to make a good photo op for you"... "we will try to set something up when we get there. We can talk as long as you want, I will try to get some of the younger faster drivers to participate as well."

well then, that just made this upcoming event even freakin better, and I did not think that would be possible. This is gonna be so much fun. How long do we have to wait for this now? Too long.

Folks - the car club offer is now available for this event.
Go to: https://www.southtix.com/grandam-tickets.html to purchase tickets. Skip down to the car club/corporate discount area and enter the password: Carclub06 (see picture of screen capture)
It will open a new page where you can order your tickets. You must select the appropriate car club: RX8 Club - Georgia from the drop down list at the top of the page. Order what ever tickets you want. At the bottom of the page, enter your car year and model to get a space in the corral. (see second screen capture picture). Then complete the purchase by following the rest of the directions.

By buying tickets as part of the RX8 Club you save $10! Even if you do not drive an RX8 you can get these tickets along with paddock access. You just have to park somewhere other than the RX8 corral.

She an 8lb 2oz incredible eating and pooping machine. Hopefully she will have settled into a feeding routine before July or I'm not going to get to see much of the race! We should be getting tickets here shortly. We'll let you know when we have sorted it out.
