Well, I've retired my nose mask. 124 MPH is not compatible with fake leather. It's OK for driving to Florida but not suitable for the track. So my baby will go braless next event.

Two words that make Road Atl in December much better: Heated seats! Damn it's cold at that one. I'll probably have to tape up the rad in the 7 (Pauls gonna drive it and I think I am gonna take the 8 orrrrrrrrrrr if I win that Viper in Vegas next month, who knows? Get Lee Ann behind the wheel too!

Great, rub that in my face (heated seats) to go along with the traction and stability control for imclement weather. Now if it's that cold, I think I'll pass until spring time. With it being December, maybe it won't fill up as fast and we can see some long range temp forecasts before paying.

Tim

God that was a cold track event--I remember wearing every piece of clothing I brought with me and keeping my helmet on inbetween sessions---and the wind --stupid wind made it even worse.

Well, when you where born before the invention of the telephone, your circulation goes to sh*t and you are always cold - even when it is 80 F outside

Silver, another thing you might want to be careful about on your bra is possibility of damaging your paint from abrasion (Especially with all the crap on the track). Back in the day I used to have a bra on my '86 MR2 until grit got under it while it was flapping (Like yours) and it proceeded to scratch the crap out of the car's nose.

TA and I are seriously thinking about RA in December.

You little southern girlies make me laugh about how "cold" Georgia is in Dec.

You want cold try a 75 mph + ride on a Snowmobile in January in Canada (Minus 20 or worse plus 75 mph windchill) or downhill skiing at -30 (On the thermometer) now that's cold.

All we have to do is as mentionned above, wait for last minute to signup and see what the weather trends are like. Remember that sometimes the weather in Dec is perfect for track with temps in the mid 60's to low 70's

Ahh the cold dense air filling-up my cylinders with pure power, mother nature's own intercooler!

I can't say I was snowmobiling or skiing back in the old country. Maybe I could say I was riding a camel across the desert with a sandstorm blasting me in the face... Even then, the temps were much higher. I could always hide behind the first hump too.

I have felt cold, I lived in Western Kansas. It gets pretty damn cold there. But I moved away from there. For good reason, and that is why I have not gone back. I don't like cold. And prefer to stay away from it. Maybe you have to be French Canadian to like cold...eh.

I didn't say I like the cold, notice how I too live in GA and not upstate NY or back in Canada. However, a little girlie GA cold ain't gonna keep me away from the track either.

-20 did not keep me from getting my yayas out on my snowmobile or racing down the hill on my skis, and lukewarm 40 some, most likely 50+ aint gonna keep me away from the track.

Besides, I work up a sweat on the track anyways and my car is equipped with heat as well. I have been driving my convertible with the top down 12 mos a year for the past 9 years and I don't see how driving with the windows down in a tin top would be any worse..

Like I said, y'all make me laugh

Sexy undergarment though... Not a bad idea to wear if the temps happen to go down to the 30's.

2 holes--man you must have lived on the rich side of town! We only had one. Wouldnt want to be in there with anyone else anyway.
It ain't the cold in the car---it's the cold(on that w/e) in between events, wind wa blowing and we where outside for hours. Didnt even have thernals on as the temp coming up was in the 70's --then it dropped to the 30's.
