no polo's are done with a different kinda weave so they'll never have that same non-course feel like a Tee, if you want a polo that feels like a Ralph Lauren but without the price of a designer name go with either:
055 Steadman by Hanes 100% cotton (90% cotton 10% poly on "light steel")
H960 Hanes StayClean blended Jersey 50/50 (this is ring spun meaning compared to the 055 that is welt knit, this we'll feel slightly better to the touch but is 1oz lighter and only 50% cotton)

I approved the second sew off on Friday with a minor change and will be getting my shirt sewn first. I'll be the ginny pig. I already had a light blue shirt and will get navy thread only. I think Chris has an order from one other person so I guess you guys can go ahead and get started with your orders. I wouldn't wait till the last minute.
PoLaK, thanks for your input.

I swapped out the digitizing for scanning in his price list and converting to PDF. Don't get no cheeper than that. I don't know what he is using for software. Guess I could ask him this evening when I drop by.

trhoads, Yes, you should be able to. You may also want to call just to make contact. Dropping off a shirt will net you a embroidery for only $6 so that's cheep if you have a spare one you want to try it out on. That is what I'm doing. He is sewing mine off today.

Excellent Job Silver!
If I bring some shirts down with me when we go to Barber, as time allows can you drop em off, pick em up and let me settle up with you the next time i'm through there?

i used to have a job where one of the functions required me to use the corel draw...it was awful. this was a few years ago, and it was the current version at the time (9 or 10, can't remember). i guess i'm just too far into the adobe mindset to change now.

Personally, I prefer the Mac and Illustrator is the default app for vector illustration.
The only thing i find illy is slightly better at is cell coloring/shading and gif bitmaps etc...... For web or plotter ready artwork nothing beats Corel IMHO.
