tell me about it. It's alot of $$ when you get into it. It's alot of fun messing with FI but at the same time it's frustrating.

i know the kits themselves are pricy but what are other expenses?

 

kit+emanage stuff+bov+guages+broken stuff.

It just costs more than originally thought. I would do it again, but I'd be prepared to buy everything at the same time, tune it on a dyno, and hope it works right.

Hey guys was anyone in Alpharetta tonight? Spotted a red GT 8 on Haynes Bridge. Pulled right next to him at a light but then he popped a U-turn before I could say whats up. Dont even think he saw me roll up on him.

Thought I would say hey cause I passed you going the other way on 75 today. I would have waved but not enough time. I was coming from Chattanooga, where were you coming from?

 

Mazcare whenson. I was going to get Charlie to change the tranny fluid while I was there, but we noticed some rather bad issues with the sealing of the transmission thanks to the dealer. I saw you right after another blue 8 heading that same way. Thought of you when I saw that one and before I knew it there you went. It was nice to see some fellow 8 drivers out and about. Oh by the way have you seen Charlie's new MS front? Man that looks so good. Seeing his is probaly going to push me into doing it too. oh well, if you ever get a few mins if you're coming up this far again just give me a buzz.

I was at Mazcare just the day before and he didn't mention anything about his MS front. I am sure it does look good. It will be a while before I get one.

yeah, he has the ram air on there too. it really shows up now, you cant see mine looking at the front if you tried. you have to get on the ground to see it.

val says there are a couple other little goodies he has added, but will not tell us what they are. i guess i need to go over there one of these days.

 

Abbid started a thread on exhaust systems with pics and vids. It was more than I could handle so I called up Charlie and told him to order me a RB Exhaust system. Wanted it in time for the Petit. Oh boy! Excitement in all directions these days.

^^good call, you will like it. Before too long, none of will be very close to stock. I want new wheels. I am trying to talk my wife into letting me get some. Either the Axis Hiro's, or Racing Hart C4 one piece. Staying with 18".

 

I like Charlies wheels, don't really care for the black ones as they make the car look heavy. IMHO

I think I'll hold off on that for a while.

What do you all think as a new nose, the MS, veilside II, or TopGun?

 

We just purchased our RX8 in August. Been looking aournd here for a couple of days and founds this thread. Would love to join the club.

We drive a Black, AT with sport package. I kown boo boo on the AT. However my wife gets to drive it more than I do. She drives from Loganville to Alpharetta and back during rush hour so the AT made more sense.

Dont know if I will be able to make a lot of additions to our 8. I have ordered the side strakes and front rotary accent from the Howard in the UK. We will most likley add a spoiler. We weant ot do some other things just not sure which.

We look forward to seeing y'all around. I really love how there are not that many 8's on the road.
