Yep... join in over at the Ga RX-8 club as L8 mentioned. We have a great club and welcome you to the gang. The fact that you posted already makes you a member... no dues and no hastles for new members. This is the mothership and we spend a lot of time here but we spend a lot more time at the other site.

FinallyGot, n2hcky-

Welcome and congrats on your rides. L8APEX's note above has the link to the local site, and there is stuff in the SE forum here as well.
Nice to have some new GA owners.

To my NASA SE friends - since we are in the off-season, feel free to post your plans, preparations, or yearning desires to get back on track here. Maybe we should start a NASA SE off-season thread so we can all keep up.
I want more pics of Phlash's new mobile digs, OD is going to the darkside, STF seems to always be hunting a new ride, Lego is always in the works for something, I need updates from TA, OMS, OnRails, L8, Marietta8, and all our SE track friends. Yeah, I talk to you guys a bit anyways, but I miss hitting this site, and seeing no updates.

So here is my update for you Lindon on what I have going on...

Well, um, actually pretty nice little Saturday. We're uh, gonna go to Home Depot, yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond I don't know. I don't know if we'll have enough time.

I am signed up to instruct at Barber with PBOC in mid Nov and I may still do that. I am kind of on the fence with that. I think my car will want a shakedown run.

I plan to run Autox next season. I have a GREAT set of 17" wheels with Toyo RA1s with 1 1/2 events on them and they want to be mistreated. I'm thinking about getting a SuperCat that I can just leave on the car. Will not be as efficient as my mid pipe was but it will give me a little more rumble in the exhaust note. That's about all I know at this point for me and my car.

On the home front, kind of like TA, I have a lot of house work that needs some attention before next season.

On the playing side, I plan to get real close to LFS. I'm already freaking addicted. Not good for getting house work done. I may be starting a local LFSAA group before the winter is over. That's Live for Speedaholics Anonymous Assoc.

Good for you - do the home thing for a few weekends, then sneak in a little trackage. I just like hearing from everyone.

Don't think I can drive Barber in Nov, but if you are going, I might drive over on Sun to hang out. November is family time/save for mods. I keep telling myself that, and am trying to avoid looking at the track sched!

And don't call me Lindon

My post was a quote from Old School and purely for my amusement. I do have a bit of landscaping to do but that won't keep me from the track. Lindon!

I will tell you this, he has never won TTD, or set a record, unless he was instructing me! I think me smoothing out the line, and showing him how late you can brake is really what does it for him. He just doesn't seem to unwind until I have braked mid-turn or caused a debris flag. Then he is all "well if he can do it...."

And Silver, , no teasing or I will post vids of your LFS sessions.

Camping is in a tent. Towing a small town home to the woods is cheating! Do they already have cable hooked up when you get there>

Doesn't mean I don't wanna go sometime! Am just saying....

After all the time spent on the car's rotor graphics and the other misc stuff on the car, I've decided to get my hands on a vinyl cutter/plotter for myself. I've got the rotor designs and everything already. I figure it's easier this way and I can now learn more about it. I've also got the track layouts like I had on my driver's door.

If anyone is interested in tracks or any other vinyl design, please let me know. As long as we have a graphic of it, it'll be able to be cut out.

I want white of those little tracks you have on your door!
I need Barber, RA, CMP, and Roebling. 2 of each, 1 for each side of the car.
Once you figure out pricing, and get your equipment, just give me a holler! We can discuss further.

Not a problem. I'll be able to get it as I've already got the tracks. I'll let you know.
