I would bring some damn good hot wings, but y'all have me banned from participating!

Make the RX8's proud.

I could do a 2/11 dyno day, but cannot make a 2/4 event. The wife has me trimming trees (or some nonsense) that day.

MisterWilson, the extra cooler will be good, the one I have does not hold a lot. But I will be bringing a bunch of water and some sodas, some diet.

This will get rid of the gas in the chamber with the cranking and defloor it. Works for RX-7's anyway.
Lego, I got my car back last night. They put new spark plugs and a starter in. The car seems much peppier now. I think there are several things that have helped it out:

- flywheel
- spark plugs
- flash? (forgot to ask if they flashed it)
- green filter
- wash & wax

Also, I've been driving an old beater Nissan Altima automatic for several days and anything would seem fast after that. I did notice this morning when I hit the intrance ramp to 985 South that it seemed like I was going a little faster than normal after shifting into 4th gear, I looked down and the spedo was on 95. That's normally an 85 spot. When I took off at one red light I punched it up through 3rd gear and it did not feel like the same car I've been driving before as it kept pulling past 7K RPM where it wasn't doing that as much before. I can't wait to get back on the Dyno.

it was probably just the plugs that were the problem then. Did they not give you the new battery, or maybe yours had the newer release battery anyway, since it yours is an 05. Glad you got it back in time, and that it is running good.

I got the seats out of mine last night, the trunk liners, got the tires rotated, and it is halfway loaded down, now it is just time to go!

Important To Read This

Alright guys,

I just talked to TA, who has also spoken to Val about this. With all this talk of all this food, we are going to end up with enough food to feed the Alabama National Guard. We had an idea, that if we just bring some snacks and drinks, we can have that at the track, and then make food runs as needed to get fast food and such for lunch. Just the grill alone, while it is very cool, takes up the majority of Val's trunk, and makes things a bit of a challenge.

I am already going to be struggling to get all this crap in my car, and am planning on cutting things out. We don't need 4 sets of jack stands, and 5 floor jacks. One or two sets of each will be more than we need. There are only 10 of us.

So lets try to cut our bringing major food items, and narrow it down a bit, to just snacks and drinks.

sorry, i dont want to spoil it, we were just thinking of the amount of stuff we will have there. It will be easier this way in the end, and, it will yield more track time, and we all know we want as much of that as we can get.

Phlash - I apologize for killing the hopes of a picnic lunch at the track. But, to be honest, I was not looking forward to that part of the day. I want some snacks, and then to make a quick run to a fast food place for lunch. Then at the end of the day, we can find a place we can all go to as a group and have a meal. Then we can bullshit about how fast we were and how great we drive and how we need to do this again real soon.
I can go along with the crowd but if you wanted to know how I really felt, this is it. All I want for lunch is a quick burger and fries. What I really will feed on is track track and more track.

NASA is doing Road Atlanta in March, the 18-19, and again August 12-13.

Right now, the March event has the most 8's we have had at a driving event, if you coudl make it, come down for that one.
