That would be good, but I have to be at Phillips Arena the night of the 8th for the Thrashers Home Opener. So something around here would be best. I am told the Tropyh Club course in Dacula is nice too. But again, it is about $60. Which by the time you count gas to anywhere far away with lower green fees, you have spent mor than that in gas to get there.

OK, update.
I think it has been narrowed down to:
Hampton Golf Village. $56 includes cart fee.
or:
Gold Creek in Dawsonville. $62 includes cart fee.
We need to get some feedback, so you guys that are intersted, chime in...please.

OH CRAP!
I just discovered a conflict! I've got to get that calendar set up on the GA RX8Club site.
I'm shooting the BMW Club at Road Atlanta that weekend!
CRAP... CRAP... CRAP!

BTW, this is me for now. Long boring story about why I got banned. Its a campfire story for Roebling.

Well, it looks like an even foursum with a beer pace cart! I was really wanting to do this. Can we plan another one at a different date? Maybe make it up to Apple Mountain and after the game we can continue on up for a mountain drive since we would already be in that direction? I can see us having the "GA RX-8 Club Annual Golf Ball Flogging Event"! Yea, that sounds like a winner. No experiance required. Food for thought.

the next one i might have to be the beer cart driver. I am having knee surgery on October 31. So, I will not be on the course probably the rest of the year.

All right, if no one has any objection, on October 1st, I am going to call Hampton Golf Village, and scheduel a tee time for 9 a.m. for 4. Val, they said you can pay the cart fee of $16 to just ride a cart and not play. So if Phlash comes down too, that would obviously cut in half.
Sorry that it has to be so early, I need to be done and back home by 4:30 so that I can get to the Thrashers Home Opener that night. :D

Well you know that sounds good to me, any early risers up for breakfast before hitting the course? I will have a drive, so I will be up early anyway. Travis, I'm sure you'd be up for breakfast (depending on your friday night)......

I was thinking those of us that wanted to, could meet up at our usual Mickey D's around 7:45. That would give us a chance to eat, then get to the course, and for those of us that need to...(me), hit a few range *****. Otherwise it will get ugly!
