I am running the afternoon session too, but I plan on getting there between 9 and 10. I like to get a look at the course, and watch other cars go through the course.

The first heat is supposed to start at 9:30. So I will be there between 9:30 and 10. I thought thye started earlier, but after checking the schedule, i got educated. I too am looking forward to it, just a couple days away, I just hope the rain holds off, or it will get very interesting. I understand it rained at the last one at the Fairgrounds, makes for a lot of sliding. :D

I'm excited. I hope the weather holds out. I just got some used Hoosier R3s04s on some spare wheels and this will be my first race on slicks if it doesn't rain...

The rain at the last event was some wicked fun, but it was hard to take turns fast and keep traction. I wouldn't mind to play in the rain some more though.

by the way everyone the turbo is up and running smoothly again.

It's a brand new beast in low rpms at least. I still havent had a chance to tune it since my bov has yet to come in so my high rpms arent much different. Take off is crazy though. I absolutely love it. I'm not expecting to do that good this go around at the track since I still cant seem to get use to the extra torque she has now. I find my self constantly over powering turns around town. Oh well it'll be interesting and fun either way.

^^well i hope you are in a different run group than me then, cause I want a ride too. :D

And it looks like the rain might just maek us all slip and slide. Might be fun, but i wish it would not rain. I really want to do this in the dry. And working in the rain will suck, more cones to pick up, and being all wet the whole time. Bring a change of clothes.

what kind of camera, is it one that you could put a plastic grocery bag around everything but the lense.

Actually, a clear bag around the whole camera would be better. Most lenses are not water tight and that can ruin a ens (if not rust/loss of lubrication, then the constant fogging like a busted headlight or watch would get would render it useless.

You can find pretty large clear bags, or just get some clear plastic sheeting.

Yeah, don't get that wet, looks expensive.

now I seem to have my in-car camera issues solved. Now i am ready for the course, lets go play, rain or shine, but hopefully shine.

Sorry about that, I just dumped my old PMs so you can now contact me. Didn't realize I had so much crap accumilated. Kind of like my house. If you need my cell phone I will PM you again. I will be back home tomorrow afternoon. If you need to contact me, cell will be the best way as I'm on the road and connections to the internet are few.

Not too far off now. I am bringing a semi large cooler, obviously not too big, this is an 8, but if anyone wants to put any beverages in it, you are welcome too.

See you all there, shoudl be fun, rain or shine.
