Hawk Race brake pads

I apologize if there is some rule against solicitation, but I don't consider the offer I am about to make a solicitation, but rather more of doing a favor for some friends.

I have several sets of brand new Hawk HT14 (front) and HT10 (rear) race brake pads that we use on the Roar Racing Grand Am Cup cars. We are going to start using a new compound for this year and have pads that I am willing to sell at cost to anyone that wants to stop quickly.

I know many of you have ridden with me and comment on how late I brake. Well here is your opportunity to out brake just about everybody on the track. I do have to tell you that your rotors and brake fluid are going to be changed more frequently. Consider that last sentence my disclaimer so no one can say I didn't warn them about the extra costs.

Let me know if interested.

Rob

Thanks for the information on the rules about posting this sort of stuff. I generally prefer that someone ask me if I can help them get something rather than doing it this way. But I thought since the Road Atlanta trip was coming up someone might be looking for an edge.

Anyway, I think I have 9 or more full sets. I was not exactly sure what I paid for them, but was going to confirm the purchase price when the supplier opened today. I will post it just as quickly as I can.

What is the FS forum?

The price for the front HT14 is $125 and the rear HT10 is $115. Depending on how fast someone wants the pads I can have a friend coming to Road Atlanta bring them with him. Or if somone wants the pads quickly we can add shiping. I can't take credit cards, but personal checks or money orders would be fine.

Who wants some?

Oh, that is what the "FS" stands for. Duh, I should have figured that out by myself. Well, if there was any doubt about my IQ before, I just removed any other questions. Thanks.

Billy, how many sets do you want? I could probably get Chris to pull them out of the trailer before we leave Greenville. We are in the process of moving the shop to Troutman, NC. I got tired of that four hour drive on weekends. Now I will only be 20 minutes away.
