Just a little update on Potamkin Mazda... it has now been 3 weeks since I got my car back from them.
They were supposed to order a new PPF bolt for me (One fell off) and assured me it would come in 2-3 days, that theyd call me when it came it, and that they wouldnt charge me for it because of my incovienience.
Needless to say I have no recieved a phone call or the part. Im stopping by there today to make a scene... last time I did 2 people turned and walked out of service after hearing about what I went thru.
I dont think Potamkin realized how much networking a car enhusiast like me does in S.FL, but I know for sure that because of there incompetance I have personally kept about 10 people from servicing there cars there in the past 3 weeks.
I just love that we aredriving Mazdas flagship car, and yet they still treat us like were rolling up in an old 626. Im willing to bet that Corrvette owners dont get this kind of treatment at *most* GM service depts.
But yea, **** potamkin mazda.

I went to Potamkin a few days ago since I was searching for a used RX-8 and they tried to tell me that I was better off buying a mazda3 and I was like wtf? Then they tried to get me to buy some piece of sh*t suzuki they had outside...Those people can't even show u a car in the same league as the 8...
A few days later I went to Ocean Mazda, by International, and those people actually treat u pretty well... I took the vin # of an 8 i'm interested in, and the service tech was more than happy to print out its history and everything. He also gave me some advice on what I should and shouldn't do with this car...

Seriously.. FML..
lol, when I was having doubts with buying the 8 at Potamkin, they then showed me a SRT-8 they had in the back and asked me if I was interested.. They told me it was fast..

Ok ok, this is the way suppose to be. Now u can get the post; i hope so
Well, I use to go at Lehman Mazda to get oil changes and servise stuff.
There is a guy his name is Alex, he's to nice and helpfull. He's one of the advisors. I had a good experience because of this guy as well the mechanics.
These guy's talk to you explain you what is going on with your car and try to help you up even if you are out of warranty. Otherwise the manager in an *******( big pain in the ***) and he pretend to be nice. When you turn back he get you a finger in the ***.
If you want to have good experience and nobody scrww you, talk to this guy (Alex)
They chganged the manager, so thing's are getting better at lehman.
With Potamkin I get some parts there because they give me 20% off and
no one else does that! (I mean dealers). Another reason that i go to Lehman is that they cover everything under warranty. You have no idea how many parts I have changed on my 8, and everythings under warrenty.
I have never paid a dollar so, SoFL_RX8, my advice is try Lehman with the issues that you are having with your 8, you will get it under warranty

Overall, I still prefer Ocean Mazda, and its not because its a few blocks away but they have great customer service...at least from my experience.
