Help!!! Car in limp mode! Will pay for you to fix!! Central Florida *
Like the title states, I took the car to Mazda and they told me I had an omp issue. I bought a used omp off of a reputable member on here. Mazda installed it and all was well for a week. Now its doing the same exact thing. Limping on startup. I haven't the tools to fix the car, Mazda cannot and will not adjust the omp. I am hoping a central Florida member can come to my house and give me a hand with fixing my rx8.
Some members have said that the omp switch needs adjusting. I will compensate you for whatever you think its worth. I just want the issue fixed. I've spent $2000 on this car in the last 8 months and this is the only issue its having from keeping it running like a dream. My work schedule is hectic so I'll leave my number on this thread so if your interested you can get a hold of me. I did not want to make a thread like this but its my last resort. If your interested give me a call or text. I appreciate it very much

Sweet thanks man!! Actually the limp mode was fixed by maztech in tampa. He discovered my water pump pulley was rubbing on my omp harness. He rerouted the wires and repaired them and all is well. while there he noticed I had a p0661 for a solenoid (ssv) I have bought the part but have yet to put it on. Maztech wants $80 which isn't bad, but a learning experience and free would be superb. However if I have tomorrow off I may just go ahead and take the car to maztech in the morning and let him fix the solenoid and pulley
