P.S. We will be doing an all Japanese parade lap Sunday with Mazda drivers in the front.
Bill, Thank you VERY much for this opportunity. I look forward to strutting our GA RX-8 Club Stuff at the front of the parade.

L8, I think strapping the banner to one of our cars is appropriate for this if it is OK with officials. Hot damn! This just keeps getting more exciting every day.

Thanks Bill, you just made my day.

OK guys, this is important. We have space reserved.

I am supposed to give them an official car count on April 14th.

So anyone that wants to go, needs to make it known by April 14th. Or you will not be in the car corral. Space there is tight, so we need to make sure we have everyone accounted for, I don't want anyone to get left out.

Just give me the count for Saturday. That should cover Sunday too. Get your tickets and more info at www.TheMitty.com

Cool. What about track touring on Saturday? Can we do that as a car club? Is that part of the ticket?

We're going to try to give everyone who buys an infield parking pass one FREE parade lap session so you can do it either Saturday or Sunday. There's only one parade lap on Saturday and three on Sunday. The all Japanese parade lap is going to be on Sunday. You will be able to sign up for these at the Classic Motorsports tent on a one-per-car, first come, first served basis.

HSR will offer Track Touring opportunities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. For just $35 you can take your car on Road Atlanta and get an idea of what it would feel like to race there. While you can’t go full-throttle, you do get to travel at a decent clip. Two- and three-day packages are also available at www.TheMitty.com.

Fun fun! I am now going Sat and Sunday Iwas going to just do Saturday but this is too much fun to pass up. Last year I got to drive an Elise around the autocross course. I can't wait to do that again.

My dear friends,

It is with great regret that I break the news to you, my cherished "EasyUp" was taken away from me last night as the rains filled the canvas and wind collapsed its fragile metal skeleton. I was using it to cover my son's truck as we did not finish his brake job last night and wanted to keep everything dry. It was a good cover and will be missed by all who had the privilege of sitting under it during it's short existence. Easy was such a dedicated cover and part donor so my John Deere Tractor was the benefactor of a much needed tarp.

In leu of flowers, a request for your attendance at The Mitty and taking Sunday Tour laps with the GA RX-8 Club would be much appreciated. Easy will be looking down and smiling as we pass through turn 10A & B.

Sincerely
SilverEIGHT

We don't seem to have much luck with the awnings. I say we look for a white one this time to match our banner!
Count me in for Saturday.

Very cool guys and gal. Silver, sorry to hear the easy up met its match. Looks like the group is growing, and will be fun. I have managed to talk the wife into letting me attend for part of Sunday, I will not be able to stay the whole day, but I will come out for part of it. I need to get my tickets ordered.

Just bought my ticket. Got the super pass for the weekend including parking. I have never been to this event, and can't wait. Like TA, I would not mind getting behind the wheel of the Elise. I have never driven one.

As for friday, I will not be out there friday, pushing my luck with being there saturday and sunday.
