the races are coming!

We are 5 weeks away to the day!!! Some of our activities will be starting
soon throughout the community. This NASCAR event, the Ford Championship
Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway will be bigger than ever due to the
whole new point system and "Championship" associated with it.

Now, our volunteers are crucial to this event. That is you.

I am looking for people available from Thursday - November 18th to Sunday,
November 21st.....Yes, it is all day (and the day does begin early) but it
is also a lot of fun!!

Please respond to this email and confirm your days and times that you will
be available. In addition, please send me your contact numbers (please
include home and cell and/or pager). Also, if you have any friends that
would volunteer with you, please feel free to let me know. That would make
the experience even more exciting for you! I highly encourage that.

We will be having a training here at the Speedway within the next few weeks
to go over your job role and get a good tour of the track and activities
that will be taking place that weekend.

We cannot do this event without you and on behalf of all of us at
Homestead-Miami Speedway, thank you thank you thank you!!

Thank you all for volunteering and being a part of our Ford Championship Weekend - the NASCAR event that will invade South Florida!!!

We will be having a training day on Saturday, October 23rd at 4:00 pm at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Ford Championship Weekend.

This training is very important - I promise not to ruin your Saturday evening - I am asking for about 2 hours of your time - training will end at about 6:00 (ish) pm....

We will be reviewing your job roles for this weekend, clothing attire, touring the track and going over some very important details. Please come comfortable and casual. I am attaching directions for you.

One of our big Media events takes place this week at Bayside with NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. You are welcome to attend.

Our training date has been changed to Saturday, November 6th at 4:00 pm. This training is very important. It will last untl approximately 6:00 pm provided everybody is here on time and we get started on time. Please call Diana and confirm your attendance at this training.
