I had an amazing time. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the end to help clean up, but I had a looooooooong drive home.

Congrats to bruce and yuri, who ran quite well today, and congrats to alex, who went off course twice! Let's give alex a hand everyone. :D *claps*

So.....who has pics and video?!?!?!?! Post 'em!!!!

And a big congrats to you too man, for your first time out, you had one hell of a good time.

Paradigm ran a 60.something, getting bested by davieRX8 by 3/10's of a second, and spanking my time of 63.1

Alex will post some pics for sure when he recovers a bit.

ugh... I was feeling better Saturday and thought for sure Sunday would be ok.

Guys, never run with a migraine... at least I got the points I needed for the end of the year, but two off courses and one 63something time has been my worst showing of the year. Really not my day...

Congrats to John though, first autoX and posting very excellent times. Also, I should mention that Greg was doing very well. Consistency is key and he was improving his times very consistently :D . Very nice 6, and well driven to boot.

I'll get some pictures up as soon as I figure how to get them out of my Brother-in-law's digital camera. :o

Thanks alex

I am getting the video of everyone off the DVcam now. I will make clipped versions for everyone.

Each video might be about 60mbs so the quality will be great and you can burn them to SVCD if you wish.

Was great meeting everyone in person. I was waiting all day to be labeled the "troll" but it never happend

(see sig for troll comment)

Guys, you all did very well!! I was quite pleased to see so many of you make it out for the event. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you it is usually run better than it was on Sunday. I'm glad to hear that everyone had a good time in spite of the long lines and only 3 runs. The club was caught a little off guard by such a large turn out. Concidering there were 170 entrants I think the club did pretty well. Many clubs limit runs to 3 if there are over 100 drivers. It was great to meet those of you that I hadn't already met and I look forward to seeing you come out for some more fun!

That was me!! I could've drifted that whole turn but as I was coming around I felt a dip in the track with the back end of my car. My knee-jerk reaction was to lift off the throttle. BIG mistake :D

I am creating a few different formats. I am still new at this video editing stuff.

I can make a perfect quality version for everyone, but the filesize will most likely be around 700mb+
I will PM the links to the drivers only.
For the meantime, let me know what formats you guys want for a "highlight" version.

Realmedia, Quicktime, MPEG, WMV, etc etc

I've got quicktime, WMP, DivX, RealOne, and VLC. I can play ANYTHING you can post, so any format is good for me. :D

ok...will do.
I am fairly good with this stuff...but dont do it for a living. I usually tell someone to do it for me though. I could get one of my lackies to help out, but i have them all on important projects for the university.

(im the director of information technology for impac unioversity...shhhh)

let me know if the mpeg works in media player. if it does, i will just optimize the size and audio on it to make it smaller file size.
