Lou Bachrodt Service.. never use them
A while back Lou Bachrodt Service replaced my transmission under warranty. When I received the car, I noticed noise coming from the gear box. After going back and forth with Bachrodt on the phone I brought it in and the SERVICE MANAGER took a drive with me. He acknowledged there was a noise, but said it was perfectly normal and some 8's have it louder than others. He said I probably just didn't notice it before. They really had me thinking I was crazy, so I dropped it and just bared with the noise.
Well this weekend (a year or so had passed) I had a smashed rear window. It was a freak thing, but not the point of my story. I brought my car into Gunther Mazda. I chose them, because Bachrodt has been clueless about my car on several occassions and never seemed to go out the way for anything. I'll post more about that later if anyone wishes.
My service advisor at Gunther calls me up and tells me there is bad news. That my gear shifter had snapped. But he will replace the entire unit under warranty. So I was sitting here just totally baffled. If it was snapped, how the heck would I have got the car there.
Well he calls later and tells me they had made a mistake. The tech heard some noise coming out the center column and thought it was the shifter. Turns out the bushings in the shifter were turn out. How? When the transmission was replaced by Lou Bachrodt.
I already filed a complaint with Mazda USA, but I advise all of you never to use them. They are either corrupt or have no clue what they are doing over there.

Dude I only go to Gunther for service, "Gordon" rules, the guy is awesome. Parts Dept. is another thing. I will never buy parts at Gunther. I was ready to drop 2500 in parts, but the General Manager would not meet the prices from Kendall. If you are wondering the price difference on the goods. On average it was about 20-27 more per item at Gunther.
