Thats actually where the South Florida S2000's meet on Tuesdays. Not only does it have ample parking, but you can sit outside and keep an eye on your car.

I'm interested in probably going to the meet if you'll accept a Honda there!

If nobody ran off the stook from the Orlando meeting, I dont think a small gorup lcally would be kids about it and ask you not to come. A car enthusiast is a car enthusiast. Just be aware that people probably wont wanna talk about your stook too much, but otherwise whould be a good time for all :D

LOL i don't really care if we talk about my car or not.... I love the 8 and use to own a 7 myself. Why go to a Mazda meet if i wanna talk about a Honda :P But thanks, i'll see if i can make it. Should be fun.

Looks like I wont be driving my 8 to the meet everyone. Just had a stang pull out in front of me at the 95 and SR84 overpass. The whole passenger suspension is broken. Plastic and metal all over the place. The front wheel is barely hanging on. She just got towed off and got to get my insurace co to pick it up and take it to a dealer monday. Good news was no injuries. Bad news is stang at fault had no insurance. NICE! Gotta love S FL!

Damn Pico, I am really sorry to hear that.

That really sucks but you're right, that is S. FL drivers. Thank goodness you have insurance. Hopefully your deductible is not too high.

So, just out of curiosity, what will you be driving to the meet?

Paradigm, I am really looking forward to checking out your car. I have been seriously considering getting a midpipe and lightweight flywheel. My concern is that the midpipe would make the car too loud so I'm hoping you will take me for a ride so I can hear the sound difference. What type of cat-back do you have? Did you notice a big difference in power after installing the midpipe?

I've got the borla cat-back. And I did notice an increase in power. I also felt it made the car easier to drive with less backpressure. With the open exhaust plus the flywheel the car loves to rev now (more so than normal )

As far as noise is concerned it's quite liveable for me. Pretty civil when just cruising, and sounding like hell has broken loose when you floor it.

As it stands right now though, I have a pretty significant exhaust leak at the flange between the midpipe and the catback (I removed everything before I had my tranny replaced and I just put it back on saturday). It just doesn't seem to want to seat right, and I can't really manhandle it into place without a lift. The car is a bit louder than it is without the leak and I don't think I'll really have time to get it into a shop to get the leak fixed before the meet. So when you hear it keep that in mind. :D

My wife was going to go but because there were no replies to that same question, she has made other plans. I will be bringing a friend instead.
If a bunch of people reply saying that they are bringing their wives then my wife may change her mind and want to attend. We shall see...

I would highly recommend parking in the parking lot behind davie ale because it is very crowded at davie alehouse and we will definetly get separated. Im stil lobbying for bahame breeze :D

Ill ask the misses if she wants to come but i doubt she'll say yes.

Lets do Ale House this time. There is lots of parking behind the building. As of right now my wife is coming with me.

I may take you up on the offer Paradigm. Ill know for sure when it gets closer. Sorry I didnt call back the other night. I guess I was shaken up a bit more than I thought. I fell asleep and didnt wake up till midnight. Ten years with no accidents. Now two in less than a year. I think my 8 is cursed!!!!!

I can understand that. I've only been involved in one VERY minor accident 2 years ago and the physical, emotional, and mental stress it can place on you is intense. Even more so when you have an actual emotional attachment to your car like we all seem to. :D

BTW my girlfriend will be coming, and she'll be wearing the t-shirt she had custom made for the orlando meet (the one we couldn't attend due to her broken arm). You guys'll flip when you see this shirt. It r0x0rs.

Here are directions:
Take 95 or Turnpike to 595. Head west to University Dr. Make a left at the light. Head south under overpass and it will be on your left hand side.
