What happened to West Palm Beach? I can't believe that - again - I can't come because it's my son's birthday on the 23rd and we're having another party on the 22nd - that's if my house is in order after major renovations these past 2 weeks. If no party that night tho - maybe - but what happened to West Palm Beach?????? (I know - haven't been around much - couldn't find my computer in the chaos and debris - lol)

MyLadyDeb, we were originally going to plan this for W. Palm but more people from Broward & Dade were responding and a lot of those people were from Miami. Davie Ale House is kind of in in between Miami and W. Palm so we decided that it was a pretty good compromise.
Some of the reason's we chose Davie Ale House are because it has a huge parking lot behind it, it is across the street from a very nice bar called Gatsby's, there is a pool hall next to Gatsby's, and it is right off of I-595.
I really hope you can make it. I have not yet attended any sort of meet with fellow 8 owners so I am really looking forward to it and as always... the more the merrier!

One week away till the first S FL meet and greet. I will be in attendance even though my poor car will not. Its been in the shop one week and they dont even have an estimate for me. Apparently all the parts are not in thier computer system yet. Anyways, Im really looking forward to meeting all of you.

Welp, my fiance wants to do som shopping in WPB so we'll drive up next saturday and on the way down stop by for the meet. She's curious to meet some of the epople that take away my time with her :D

I'd imagine around 3-4PM or so then heading down at whatever time the meet is happening. I'll talk to her about it later and we'll decide on a time.

Just so I am clear....
We are meeting behind the Davie Ale House correct? The Ale House parking lot itself (front/sides) of the building is pretty small but there is a huge parking lot behind the Ale House. Is that where everyone is planning on parking their 8's?

I'm new to FL, new to the thread, and just got the RX-8 not too long ago. The next meeting should somewhere closer to Orlando...but I'm going to try to make the meeting though. I have people in Boynton Beach.

Ok seems like i am going to be able to make it afterall. I will be attending with my Brother-in-Law and he is going to get advice on the 8. He wants the car and is looking to get in the very NEAR future. Hope you guys can help him out!

Well I found a shop that'll fix this leak in time for the meet, so you'll get to hear what the car is actually supposed to sound like with the midpipe. :D
A few of the guys from the shop doing the job might be joining us as well. They just got an RX8 to work on.

Awesome paradigm. I am really looking forward to hearing your car. We have the same exhaust so I will be able to tell whether or not I want the midpipe. Can't wait to hear it.

Wow! Looks like we are having a real good turn out! NICE!
Unfortunatly I can drive the old stang because its not registered or insured. Even though that doesnt stop most people down here! Also park behind the Ale House. the parking around the building is crazy. Plenty of room in back. See you there.
