Ok, I just got back from the park. Unfortunately they had no shelters available for June 18th, so it has been booked for June 25th. We can start a list of who will be going and what everyone will be bringing. If there is anything particular that you would like to bring or any special needs (vegetarian), just let me know and we will accommodate. The shelter is for up to 45 people so friends and family will be more than welcome.

We will be at shelter 0, it is a little bit off the water and away from everyone else. There are some good and bad to this shelter but it was the only available. One of the best parts is that it is completely separated and has its own fairly large (around 50 car) parking lot. Bad is that it is a 5-10 minute walk to the water and there is no bathroom at the site but is 5 minutes walking from the nearest. It is also right on Flamingo, but hey we might see some accidents from people looking at our cars.

I attached a word document with everything needed. If we can get a few people for each item I think we can keep cost to a minimum for everyone. I will update the lists from both boards so we can see what everyone is bringing.

I figure the easiest way for beer is BYOB, it would be too expensive for only a few people and I don't know who drinks.

If there is anything on the list that you would like to add, please feel free and we will get it done. I put myself down for a couple things and I am sure I will grab some more.

If the document doesn't work just let me know and I will just post up the text and we can update within the thread. When the date gets closer if you have to drop out just let me know and I will take care of it.

someone is bringing cups so jugs would be fine but bottles would be easier to be kept cold. If the jugs can fit into a cooler then we should be fine, I am going to pick up a few Styrofoam coolers to keep the ice and stuff in.

So today while i was at work i went to the shelter the bbq will be at and pressure cleaned it so that it is ready for saturday. I had some free time and i started to pressure clean the sidewalk too

I am heading out soon to get there a little before noon and set things up. Not sure about everyone else.

 

Everyone can bring anything they would like. I got some hamburger meat and hotdogs but I am sure we will need more. Same with drinks, buns and anything else you can think of. There was a list of what everyone was going to bring, you can go by that of what is needed.
