btw i seen a nordic green GT with petit racing banner on rear window today on hollywood blvd and by the beach, anyone from here...it was a nice ride, didnt sound stock

When is the next DSR meet at Countyline?

 

I got my 8 not too long ago and will be in Miami for another couple of weeks....are there any more meets going on near the Kendall area? I'm near the Fudruckers on US1 & 104th but its always crotch rockets when I go by.

Also, I love the fact that there's sooo many cars in Miami (hate that part actually, freaking traffic....) but that I rarely see any RX8s - its def. a rare breed. I was close to buying the G35 coupe but ended up going with the RX8, and its an unbelievable difference in how many G35s there are vs. rx8s. I love being unique.

 

the rx8 is a rare breed for sure, on a daily 2 hour round trip i see maybe 1 or 2 other rx8's and they are always base models....i hardly ever see a rx8 that looks like its owned by an entuiast, they are always stock. as far as g35's i see atleast 10+ on the same 2 hour commute, same with 350z's...they are nice cars but sucks to have somethin everyone else has. i love bein unique

Hey Mine is pretty base and i'm a huge enthusiast. I just don't want to spend a lot of money on my car when i have othre priorities. Don't get me wrong I LOVVEEE my car and there's so much i'd love to do to it. But if there's no $$ there are no mods!

 

I've lived here for 11 years and the people keep getting worse. Do you guys ever meet up? I can't find any car club meetings in Miami. This my first Rotary, and I can use the advice

 

DSR (Down South Rotaries) has meets every so often. I still haven't been able make one but I want to. Search DSR and you'll see.

 

I tried having meets but only 2 RX-8's showed up. ::sigh:: if only people who said they would show actually showed... Everyone else who was there were my friends with an STI and Celica

Bahama Breeze is a nice place to meet. Thats where we use to meet up when i was with the S2Ki group. Can keep a nice eye on the car.

 

Fuddruckers isnt like it used to be. Thursdays still bike night, but the obnoxious rice crowd of monday night has dissapated.

Id be down for another meet by Town and Country. Anyone interested?
