Any of you Orlando people have any experience installing the shock sensor upgrade, or know of a dealer who has?

I tried installing it this weekend, and I'm pretty sure I got the wiring done right, but it's not working. I'd like to double check my wiring before declaring this shock sensor defective.

 

NVMyRX8 and Bastage, you would have better luck searching or starting a new thread.

That said, NVMyRX8, I autoX my 99miata for 3 years and did many track days. I have made it out to 1 autox in the RX8, still adjusting to all the extra weight and length. You should come to the meet on friday, it will be fun, youll get to meet fellow local owners, and talk shop with everyone. Cheers

Bastage, search the forum, im not sure if there is a 'do-it-yourslef' for this or not, but I know other member had followed the instructions and it still didnt work, something about there being 2 wires of the same/simlar color I belvie....check it out!

Ronnie, Congrats on your 8. You should really try to come to this (Riverview/ Brandon area), it sounds like it is going to be a good size group. You can also check the 'Tampa thread' for more details. There will be several Miatas (East Side Club) there as well, so you will be right at home. I think a few people from the Florida Mazda Club will also be there.

Guys can you help me with a head count....do I need to add seating. 25 at the table currently, and there may be more than that now. I also have another person, so 4 including me.....this is posted on so many sites it is hard to guage......

I think it sounds like the locals will start arriving around 7ish to get the lot spaces. The Orlando group is intending on showing at around 8ish. The table at the restaraunt is for 8:30pm and they may put it out front on their porch area.....

No not at all. When I'm not at the office working I'm at home working. So usually when I'm on here chatting I'm also working,matter of fact I just got off from a conference call with the west coast a few minutes ago. My weekends are the only time I can actually plan events for myself and it's hard do all I want to do in two days. If only the weekend were longer.

 

i say we work 2 days and have 5 days off!

Hey guys I just got my 8 on Saturday of this past weekend. I live up in Lake Mary and would love to get to know some of the other area guys. Bare with me Im new to the forum too so let me know if somethings not coming through correctly.
