All of the stuff that I remember putting in my profile with the addition of wheels/tires, a turbo kit(manufacturer unknown at this time but most likely GReddy w/ancillaries), digital gauges for nitrous/fuel pressure, front and rear strut braces, frame ties, remote bottle opener and heater, R.B. screens, and possibly a complete braking system upgrade. Hell, my Ti PPF may even be finished and installed since we took delivery of the TIG welder. If that's the case I may bring a few to Beta test at the track.

I spoke with the SE Director of NASA this evening. Great guy! I will be sending him my list of anticipated locations to shoot from. He is going to be very helpful in the process. He even invited me up to the start finish box with him. I think I will be attending the meetings with the corner guys and he will make sure they know me and that I don't do anything stupid like run out in front of a Viper. I may have some limitations as my accessibility will be limited sometimes due to the fact that when one group is exiting the track the other group will be entering turn one and up the hill. So I may not have as much freedom as I originally wanted. No matter what happens, I have made the proper contact and will be able to get the best possible spots for stills and video. Guys, I'm pumped!
One thing that bothers me though, Charles doesn't have video in his car! Any suggestions what we can do to get him set up? Man, I'd love to have two cameras in his car. :p
Hopefully I will be breaking in a new Sunlight Silver 8 by time I meet you guys on Friday 18. :D

I read the thread in the Tech forum on your repair saga. Sounds like a turn for the best. Hope they take good care of you!

Okay, Guys, I just looked at my bank account and Uncle Sam gave me my money back. If I had better discipline I would have kept it in the first place. Anyway, when I get my contact list from my sponsor I will begin the mad ordering frenzy. That should be in a day or two. I am wondering if there are any parts that you are curious about, besides the turbo, that I might want to install. Does this question need to be moved to another thread?

p.s. I've done a background check on Olddragger and I am a bit nervous about the trip, now. :p

Charles, get a mounting bracket for a camera, we will find a video camera to put in your car somehow.
I found this in one thread: http://www.stickypod.com/
I'm sure someone will give you suggestions. I've never done this before.

Although I have a strong A/V background I am really more concerned with making sure I have the turbo kit done and as many other mods, as well. If I have time I would like to also install a brake set and maybe even a set of coil-overs. I'm not worried about the in-car camera stuff for now. If someone else wants to pick up a bracket, I'll be happy to re-imburse them for it but my time will be spent making sure I am the fastest car in the HPDE1 class. After all, they assigned me the number 1 car number and I can't let my Atlanta homies down, can I?

Back ground check on the old dude huh? Hell I thought my top secret security clearance prevented that until 2025! Government promises are a misnomer. Ok then the secret is out--I do have Jmmy Hoppa in the trunk of my car. Now ---catch me! Heheh.
Approx 4 wks away guys.
You know I just realized something, I invited a D--- Yankee down to hang with us! Hmmm only one way to handle that. We must make Charles an honorary member of the South on arrival. I think when a Yankee works on a Georgia boys car he automatically gets that recognition doesn't he? Ok then. That settles it . We are easy.
Maybe we can place a racoon tail on his car somewhere.
Maybe he will eat grits.
Maybe i just may have a little "moonshine" with me. (I am not a drinker guys but my family still makes this stuff legally)
We put suger in our tea.
We drink "coke" or coke a cola" not soda.
We go to the "picture show" not the movies.
On a elavator we ask someone to "Mash that button" not "push that button"
etc etc.
Ok joking over and I am sure we are going to have a lot of that later. Now more serious stuff.
Charles on my wish list, I always wanted to try the high flow cat/midpipe. I hear it does make a differance. Do the oem sensors bolt right in to the aftermarket high flow/pipe?
I just read that SCCA does not recommend a full faced helmet with cars that have airbags. If the bag deploys then the chin guard plus high velocity airbag is not good. THEY RECOMMEND AN OPEN FACE HELMET. Jusy wanted to share that.
Charles
awooouuuhh was our gengerations Marine yell! Course my yell now a days is more like "Honey put that dang credit card up and turn off that QVC program!"
