Well, remember, you don't want to the EXACT SAME things with this 8 as you did the last one.

Charlie and Scott did a great job on my new flywheel install and clutch job. I had an M2 that weighed 10.75lbs and I got a SR that weighed 9.25lbs. It got a good work out on the way home since I got stuck in that I-75 traffic where 2 of the 3 lanes were closed 18 miles outside the perimeter that had traffic backed up to the perimeter before it was over. Main reason for the clutch job was the old disk was about to the rivets and I didn't want to scar up the presure plate side.

Hey y'all - I have been away for what seems like an eternity but I am back in the land of the living. Early Friday morning I passed out and met my tile floor with my face (twice). My wife took me to the ER and I got released today at noon. I couldn't wait to check the forum and see what I missed. Damn this is an addiction. With BP levels at around 60 over 40 (nurse said it is pretty close to as low as you can go), all I could think about was my Friday 8am appointment for an oil change at Mazcare. With lots of IVs and many needle holes for tests, I was able to call Allan at 8am and cancel. Anyway, now I am back home and am glad that this happened when it did rather than in 2 weeks. Tivo recorded the Grand Am Cup race, the Rolex race from Homestead, and Nascar qualifying from Mexico (road course thank you very much before I get flamed) so I am gonna have some tea and catch up on motor sports TV now that I have fulfilled my allegience to the RX8Club forums.

See you in a few weeks.

Nabil, I'm really sorry to here of your hospital visit. I hope you didn't hurt the kitchen floor when you passed out and bounced! (just kidding) I was looking forward to seeing you tomorrow in Dahlonega. Guess I'll just cruise up there for a little drive anyway by myself. Glad you are feeling better. See ya in two weeks. YeeeHaaa! :D

I'll be getting to Mazcare early that Friday for the big brake to be installed for the front and rears. I saw the ACT flywheel for the 8, that is a nicely made piece. Charlie took me for a ride in his 2nd gen, left me with "oh ****" grins for about 10 mins

Nabil,
Did the docs give a reason for the low BP? Hope all returns to normal very soon.

I will be at Mazcare early Friday afternoon, as I'll be coming from Alabama that morning.

I've been preparing my baby for the event. Just finished installing Racing Beat Springs & Sways, RB Catback, and RP Short Shifter.

Will be bringing along a RB Flywheel & MS Clutch, as I am taking up Charles Hill's offer in getting his help with the install, hopefully that Friday.

Thanks for asking! The docs had no idea what the prob was. They tested me to make sure it wasn't a heart attack or stroke. Everything checked out OK. I am feeling a lot better today. Why don't you come up early Friday and do the autoshowinmotion with me and Lego? We signed up for Friday morning at 11am. From there we'll head to Mazcare. The website to register is http://www.autoshowinmotion.com

I wish it was in the kitchen as hardwood has more bounce to it than tile. Congrats on the new car. Enjoy your drive today as the weather looks spectacular. We will definatly make the drive another time (hopefully after your break in period).

Hey, Nabil, I don't mean to be a doctor but they sometimes overlook the obvious just like mechanics do. Did the doc's check your blood sugar level? Too high or two low will cause some serious issues that resemble what you described. Just wondering.

CRH

All this talk about rain makes me glad I am keeping my 255 KDW's on for the trip. They sometines look like truck tires to me, being 255/45's, and sometimes they look better than the factory tires. It usually depends on if the car is clean or not.

Hey Charles - thanks for asking. They did keep on checking blood sugar too. I was normal. They couldn't find a damn thing wrong so it freaks my wife out not knowing.

I've got to give Charlie a call at Mazcare on Tuesday. I was driving my 7 to put enough break in on the new flywheel and clutch disk on Sunday when I notice my VMOP - oil metering pump voltage - that tells the ecu how much oil to spray in depending on load was screwed up. I pre-mix 2 stroke oil with the gas so I babied it home from Roswell (about 60 miles) but now I'm curious as to what this is and it had to pop up now. I'd hate to get on the track and NOT have the oil system up to par.

Tim
