STF, are you already assigned as an instructor to anyone? And the tire guy was there in August, hopefully he will be there again, I would love a ride in the EVO.

Blue, don't worry about a floor jack, I am sure we will have a couple there.

OD, any update on your wife?

I just took the rear seats out yesterday for more space and DAMN it is loud back there. I didn't know they insulated sound that much. Anyone else experience that or do I have a problem back there that I'm hearing now?

yeah, I am HPDE 1, and wondered if he would instruct me. But I did not request anything, kinda forgot I could.

I will have a toolbox at the track, with the tools needed for brake pad changes, and any minor work that might come up. Hopefully no one will need it, but it will be there. just putting that out there, so that we don't end up with a full repair shop showing up at our paddock space.

no problems, that is normal. They knock down a lot of noise. Mine have to come out tonight, I ran out of daylight on Tuesday.

and there will be no fight, lego is my roomie, and in DE 2, the faster group. I am in DE 1, where I belong.

Thanks,
Hit them up on the phone. The tire service is called Sasco Sports 877-377-7811. Here is a link...
http://www.sascosports.com/?referredfrom=NASA-SE
Seems like they carry all the top brands of tires including the RA1s (since it is a spec tire with NASA)

well, the car has had all of her fluids changed, I really like what Redline does for the gears, so much smoother now.

I talked to Charlie, he said that the afternoon tomorrow was kinda busy, silver and OD are both getting a little work done around 3, and that we can show up over there around 4 or later if we like. There is nothign formal planned, just kind of hang out and shoot the ****... like we do...so, see you guys there all that can make it.

L8 thanks for asking. The wife is doing OK. She actually made medical history. I am not kidding. Something showed that had never been seen before to the best of our knowledge.Long story and technical. I will share with all this w/e. The bottom line however is she is clear. No chemo etc. Now just recovery.
Keeping my seats in. With them out I am reminded of how close the gas tanks are!
HPDE 2 cant be for the faster people--cause that is where I am!
The car is ready--But i have changed my mind this time about my pre mix--seems there is a possibility of cat damage if you do this to much. It's good for the engine and synthetic pre mix SHOULD burn complety--but I am not taking any chances. So many other are tracking their cars without pre mix then it must not be a problem.
Jacks--just bought a brand new one at Harbor Freight--embrassed how much I got it for --it was on big time sale!
This time tomorrow---CHARLIES!!

That is great news OD! Now you will really be able to enjoy the weekend. I am so happy for you and Mrs OD.

As an aside, I went to GTE today and got me a super duper alignment. My specs are in my vb garage. Car feels great - very nimble and willing on initial turn in. I have not run it through any meaningful curves though. We'll see if we can fix that situation this weekend. Weather forecast is shaping up for Sunday. Let's hope we get to play with our slicks on all weekend long.

OK, the shop made modifications to my camera mount. I think I'm VERY pleased with the results. Also this time I added a little sample of how rough my driveway is and how the mount handles it perfectly.

Test #2 (QT download)

Thanks guys for all your suggestions. Now I'm out to change to my track tires! Later!

Well someone's No Rain Dance is working. Anyone excited yet? In just over 24 hours you will be trying your damndest to go to sleep so you are fresh for Saturday but you will toss and turn. Sleep will elude you as you replay each turn of the many videos of RA you have watched and explored every memory you have of that track.
Getting excited y'all!
