I really can't speak for anyone else. The NASA hotel tends to be the Red Roof Inn with a rate of $59/nite. The hotel Francois and me are staying at (Spring Hill Suites) is around $119/night. I would be at the Red Roof if it wasn't for accumulating some Marriott rewards points due to a bit of business travel.

Does anyone need a roommate? I'm not sure if my son will have his apartment at that time so I should probably try to find lodging elsewhere. I should know this Sunday... as in the second day of Road Atlanta!

I have made reservations for a non-smoking room for two nights at the Red Roof (912.748.4050).......I think L8 and I are roomies......Don, I can bring a inflatible mattress if you'd like to join us......

I will take you up on that. I'm thinking of working this event instead of driving. I have some things I want to accomplish and learning flags and learning to appreciate the corner workers is on my list of important things to accomplish. I think this may be a good opportunity. As much as I would like to drive I think it will be good knowledge gained and besides, I can tell my wife I'm earning track credits so I don't have to pay next time (that's probably the real reason but the first one sounds more manly).

work two = one free, unless it is Road Atlanta, then you pay $50.

I've decided my schedule for the year with NASA:

Work:
- May 20-21 Robeling
- Jun 24-25 Sam's Gap Hillclimb

Drive:
- Aug 12-13 Road Atlanta
- Sep 30-1 Roebling Road

Work:
- Oct 21-22 Rockingham (maybe)

If anyone is willing to ride share to any of the events I will be working, I'd greatly appreciate it and share the expenses. I'd want to leave on a Friday evening and return on Sunday evening so I don't have to take any time off from work. I might even let you use my camera mount!

I will be signing up tonight, for HPDE 2 , I think I am going to make the switch, after talking to STF and TA, and thinking about it a lot, I have more to learn if I throw myself in the bigger pond. Now I just have to tell Julie at NASA that I can't work it.

How do you make those icons show up inline with the text when they are not in the library to begin with?

lol, i stole it from our very own RSD in another thread, Firefox allows you to copy an images location, and then insert it as an image in the reply editor. I want to add that one to our repertoire over on the GA forum, silver....

Let me know when its time to talk car setup. I have the koni yellow adjustables, and a teamrx8 prototype front sway bar(stiffer than the MS bar and not as stiff as the RB bar). It looks like I'll be on these sweet non grippy dunlop 8090 stockers as well. Everything else is stock(including fluids).

I'm guessing that this being my first time, a "pushy" setup probly wouldn't be too bad.

I am not a big fan of a "pushy" setup. Roebling really is a track where you want your car to rotate and you can moderate it with the gas pedal - lift to turn in tighter to the apex and mat it to track out.

TA, how do you feel knowing I could slip out in YOUR group now...... Maybe you can get some good vids, provided I can catch you there. Roebling is a momentum track.

It would be cool. Yes Roebling is a momentum track but it will bee only my 2nd time there and I want to experiment with my line through 1/2. Was was taking the rimshot but I think a double apex may be the better way around and easier on the tires. I am really looking forward to trying to hang with 32V, and maybe keeping him in sight.
