A detailed copy of this receipt will be emailed to you. Please refer to that message before contacting us.
I guess Celine is bored and wants to play in March. And I don't wanna miss the debut of OSCD on track. I am in as a DE2.

Woo Hoo and Stf if you are chasing me you will be doing a 2+minute lap! i plan on (at least Saturday) to take it real easy until I know this car better. Road Atlanta is not that forgiving of a track to most of us.
I do anticipate 140mph on the back straight---if i will let it get that fast
For me I think turns one 2-3 and 5 are going to be the ones to be really careful on. I FEEL THE NANNY!

I am going to sign up end of next week, for both CMP, and Road Atlanta.
TA, you going to do the Mustang club a CMP in May30th? It is the show that James Ray runs, TONS of track time, and it is the new config of CMP.

Last year I couldnt do it due to work. We'll see about this year. I was never a huge CMP fan so if I can make the Feb NASA event, I will know how eager I will be to return there. There are so many RA and Barber events that are more friendly to the task of just getting to the track that I could just stay semi local and get 12 events in...

I will be curious to know how the new configuration is, according to someone who has run it already, it is about 3-7 sec faster. However, he was never 'on-fire' during any of his events, so I take it with a grain of salt.

It has been along time, not really, but too long in my book. I have a bunch of work to do this week, but once done, I am totally caught up for the next month or so, so I can focus on getting the motor done, I mean both the 347 and the 302 (replace gaskets).

OnRails, let me know if you are interested in a set of Enkei RPO3's with Toyo RA1's. I have a set I will make a deal with you on. The set was purchased new and the tires were shaved.

Tempting... I'd really like to use the 275's again. Of course the big reason is that I can use my Discount Tire card and get 12 months no interest.

I am there, and I won't have a 302 V8, it will be slightly more cubbi.. I figured since the time cover needed a new gasket, I mine as well, stroke it, order a new block, new ported heads, solid lifters, a new cam, and um, a good tune . It's no Evo, but it will be over 300whp .

then you would go for the HPDE section of the event, no racing, just driving school at high speed, or as high as you get comfy with. very limited passing, and classroom time to go with it. if you have questions, feel free to post up, we can try to answer.

TJD a word of warning---once you start--you will NOT be able to stop!
STD---dont forget, on that engine, to get the right springs on that valve train(solid lifter cam?). You already have unequal lenght maybe even a "stagger" type header?---I KNOW you have an x pipe already.
Over 300 horses--who are you kidding -- maybe just a "little " more than that! i think you may miss that 4 wheel drive a little.
What do you think you will end up weighing ?
this is going to be good.

TJD,
Yup, stick around, ask questions, and if you can make it sign up for HPDE1. They will learn you around. And you will have a paddock full of folks (hopefully) to walk you thru everything.
Not many auto-x guys in Ga, but if you want road course, you found the right place.
OH, Snap! I have to go check the car. Track on Monday!
