Ok, so I will have to shave the great dane, and I am sure someone there will have a blue tarp, but the question is, where can we get a 10lb bucket of KY Jelly?
. Maybe the guy in the F350 who hit my track car has some.....
(now I can joke about it).

The Turkish Delight
Don't have the bucket of KY, but I'll bring two jugs of Crisco. Should work about the same and in the afternoon sun, he'll attract a lot of the indigenous wildlife from the area.

You know I remember my first time at the track and I thought you guys were just kidding around. Then I got to the track on Saturday morning and everyone started pulling out their tarps...
So you guys that run the Hawk pads... Wonder if TT qualifies for the Hawk Contingency:

Didn't recognize their names on the initial list that just came out.
This first list is probably not very accurate. NASA started posting it early as people were curious about who was showing up, but it tends to get amended a fair bit.

Last time we were right in front of tech. Not sure if that is an option this time around but I liked that spot. Maybe we can extend into the area in front of pregrid as well since we have some TT folks.

Swoope, street tires are good for your first track time, they talk to you and give a little more feedback, and it is better to learn on street tires before you progress to R comps, they add another whole element to it, that I would not want as a noob.
I say we try to get our usual paddock spot, but rope off that whole area and not share this time. It is big enough for our whole group if we can manage to snag the whole thing.
Now, I need to go buy new front pads, CMP killed off what was left of mine.
ONLY 2 MORE WEEKS!!

last I talked to Rob, they were undecided, since they have a race at Lime Rock the next week.

smart man. your SPT's should be fine, the new surface at RR is not very abrasive at all, nothing like it used to be. You will see minimal wear on your street tires.
