I'll do a rain dance in the evening when there is less negative force from the sky. Right now, I have to post a photo of L8APEX calling Plash to let him know, he lost the bet! Phlash for betting against me you turd, you own me dinner too. You said it would take 3 hours to install his mid-pipe! Where's the faith in a buddy? I did it at Road Atlanta on the hot pavement in 45 min. I believe we did it in 1:12 and that was including a 20 frigging min. penalty which you assessed for spraying a releasing agent on the bolts and installation instruction bullshit! Come to think of it, I believe you own me dinner and breakfast.

As the daddy of the TM exhaust, I too would like to know how it sounds.

Chas, it sounds really good. We took it for a ride but L8 was a tad timid with the gas. He would get on it just a little to hear it bouncing off of solid fences and building walls but would back off. It does sound good and it is a bit loud but as I told L8 and everyone else before. It does sound louder inside the car. It really doesn't sound that much different than with the RB Exhaust. Maybe a little more aggressive but very similar.

I have spoken with the tribal leaders and they have agreed to bless us with their sacred rain dance. I respectfully and humbly accepted their offering:

So, I will be coming up from Jacksonville on Saturday to spectate and cheer on the RX8 participants. I promise to embarass myself and everyone near me.

I have never been to an event like this. I should probably ask IF there are areas where a person can be a spectator??

And, I fully expect to be a participant in a couple NASA events sometime next year. There seems to be no better way to drive your car as fast as possible without endangering the general public.

U know I would buy u lunch as well, but since u won't be with L8 and I in Savannah......so sorry...no soup for you....

Come on....three hours??? You really think I figured it would take that long??? I think the worst you said it every took you was two and a half including multiple runs to the auto store......

That thing was obnoxious as hell sounding when he called me........I can't wait to blow out of his subdivision at 4am Friday morning full on throttle.......WOOHOO!!!!!

Welcome Skillmaker...can't wait to meet you.

Sure, please come and spectate. If you bring a helmet, with a small nasa fee ($5 bucks I think) you can ride with an instructor.

Welcome skillmaker. Look forward to meeting you at the track. The image in your post looks like a AutoX pic. I will be joining the SCCA Solo events next year.

Absolutely. When you get to the track (which was a PITA to find the first time I was there) go to the building outside the gate and pay a small entry and NASA fee and get your wristbands. They will pass you in to the infield/paddock when there is no one on track. From there you can pretty much go wherever you want, and as Lego said even ride with instructors.

Thanks for the responses.

I am really looking forward to Saturday!

Yes, I know WhiteRex. Have not heard from him in a while. Thanks for the reminder, I should call him up and see what he has been up to.

I will bring along the brain-bucket, and see if I can scam a ride with an instructor.

Finally, yes - that is an autocross picture. The Buccaneer Region (Florida) and Coastal Region (Georgia) SCCA clubs will be autocrossing at Roebling Road on Oct 21. WooHoo!

You guys are the best! Thanks again!

Don and Donna (Black 3rd gen - Silver Exige S) will be getting in before us, and Don said he would set up their double enclosed car carrier rig along the fence, set up the canopy, and have the AC running if we want to hang out.
Those that have met them know what great folks they are.

Skillmaker - look forward to it. Where do they autox at RR? I will try to PM you some links about the event this weekend. Hit me back if you dont get them.
