Like that suspension setting huh? It's great. I tested It a little myself and MAN! One thing to remember it does track differently. Got the railrun syndrome so watch it on the street. Also guys i am swearing about a pre mix and royal purple motor oil. It does make a differance and I like a little extra protection on the track. RP has a much higher tolerance for extreme temps and a much higher shear factor. Look into it. Also with the OMP being a little lacking at substained high rpm's a pre mix may not be a bad idea.Think about it.
Between the suspenion and the brakes and the increased power since my last track day AND not knowing this track--I will be taking it easy for a while.
Tomorrow all, at Wendy's about 4:30PM?
I threw a dang soft code cel this evening after i filled up with gas. That is the second time that has happened since they have done the recall and messed with my gas tank. Hope it goes away. Car runs fine. the dealership told me probaly a little gas in the charcol cannister. I AM NOT LETTING THIS STOP ME!

I wonder if you write something like "whitening" if it'll pop one up for toothpaste.
Better yet, will "hemeroid" pop one up for some kind of *** cream? Inquiring minds want to know.

Anyway.......
All y'all have a blast, and wish I could have been going with you, but business got in the way.
Just got back from watching the Morman Tabernacle Choir practicing (Salt Lake City), so I will not be returning home 'til late.
Be safe.
And free Valpac !

I'm leaving in about a half hour to 45 minutes. See you all soon! I had a hell of an experience today. Almost had to cancel this trip due to an overzealous mechanic with an impact wrench. All I can tell you now is "DON'T STRIP A WHEEL BOLT, THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE ***!!!"
That's one thing Mazda designed really badly is how those things go in. And, nobody stocks them. I'll tell you about it at Wendy's!
Have a great trip, see you guys in a few hours.

Whelp, I guess I am the first one back, who is still awake.
First, let me say thanks to the RX8 crew, even though I drive an Evo8, I was welcomed as family, except for the 'Random Guy' comment made about my car in one of the pictures....
. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they are all very awesome, and very easy to get along with. lAgain, my thanks, I had a GREAT weekend.
Now, here is the short-version.
Phlash made the jump to group 2, with ease I may add, and Lego expanded his knowledge of the limits of his car. I can't speak to the other folks growth, I was these two instructor.
I did take both Lego's and Phlash's cars for a spin on-track, and well, I WILL be getting me one, as soon as I can. I can't bear to part with the Evo, but there is no reason I can't have two track cars, right?
My take on both was unbelievable. Legos in stock form was enought to easily put away a modded 944 Turbo, yes I said turbo, and Phlash's was just insane. I was even able to repeat the one-handed drift manuever from TopGear, despite the whimpering crys from Phlash in the passenger seat.
As for the rest of the day, I will let the others fill you in, but I can tell you there is alot I left out.
Someone ask about spankys......the restaraunt, not club.
